We were invited to join a friend at the Disney Grand Californian Hotel for a Transformational Event. Julie was the host of developing your Best Mind. The event started at 730am, as we were served breakfast in the executive board room. The seminar lasted for about 9 hours as she presented her research with fun lessons, exercises, and videos. The interactive fun learning style makes it easier to digest the abundance of information about the brain that she shared with us.
Do you know what makes learning even more enjoyable and easier to process? Delicious Disney Grand Californian Hotel food! From a juicy steak, mocha creme brule with rasberry chocolate, and other sweets. mMm!
Julie went over a wealth of information.
In a tiny chocolate covered strawberry, She went over the differences of Introverts, Ambiverts, and Extroverts.
She then went on present fun exercises to find out if we were more proficient being Visual, Auditory, Kinesthetic.
It was fun learning about the different brain quadrants. Such as being The Boss, The Master Coordinator, The Nurturer, and The Innovator.
She then went on to talk about the differences with genders way of thinking and even birth order.
The psychology and research behind it all linked it together, along with the affects of mindset and visualizations on the various parts of the brain.
From the different exercises, I am more of an ambivert, kinesthetic, and an Innovator.
Knowing our strengths can better assist in understanding ourselves, understanding others, our relationships, career, and more.
Although she taught a lot about the brain, much research exists about the intelligence of the heart and the influence it has on the brain. The HeartMath institute has an online library of its research regarding this. This can be found here:https://www.heartmath.org/
For those of you interested in learning more about the science and psychology behind the brain, I recommend checking her out and possibly attending one of her seminars.
Thank you Julie for your contribution and seminar!
