Triangle of Light
The triangle is one of most common occult or alchemical symbols. A triangle with its point downward represents the deity and is called the Deity's Triangle, or the Water Triangle. With one point up, it is called the Earthly Triangle, Pyramid Triangle, or the Fire Triangle. Joined they are the hexagonal Star of David. Adding another dimension yields two interpenetrating tetrahedra - the star tetrahedra or Merkabah Field. The ultimate goal of Alchemy is to obtain special wisdom, self-renewal and even immortality.
The inverted triangle is also a symbol of The Feminine - Delta of Venus, and might also represent the deepest of meditative brainwave states - Delta (1-4 hz) where deep regeneration and recalibration takes place. The delta state rejuvenates your mind, body, and spirit. Delta range of deep dreamless sleep also triggers the release of anti-aging Human Growth Hormone so beneficial for renewing energy, healing and regeneration. Scientifically proven benefits of the delta brainwaves include:
1. Speeding up regeneration of new cells and hormone production
2. White blood cells multiply greatly killing invading germs and bacteria
3. Restore unbalanced sodium and potassium in the body which causes fatigue
4. Keep blood circulation flowing freely.
St. Germain's triangular text might rightly be called THE DRAGON BOOK. Find out about the Dragon lineage, Deep Time, Dragon Precession and 2012, and the nature of Immortality. The Dragon is the symbolic superstar of Saint Germain's secret grimoire. Find out why and what it means. St. Germain had The Secret, a legacy of Manly Palmer Hall and his Philosophical Research Society (PRS). It was the supreme treasure of his vault. It now resides in the Getty Research Institute, likewise deep in their library vaults. Revealed here are previously unseen photos of the sigils, emblems and ciphers of the book, hidden since 1750.
This master adept, called the wisest in Europe, reserved his greatest gift, the two books he wrote, for his wisest companions. One of them was a magical rite for alchemical Immortality. The Magnum Opus, the Great Work of alchemy, is the utter transformation of oneself into a being of light, an energy body. Saint Germain's great secret was the Art of Rejuvination and Spiritual Rebirth. Immortality is the occult alternative to Christian salvation. Post-modern views include ideas of holographic pattern or field survival from advanced physics. There is a clear message to realize theimmortality that rests within us.
High ritual magic can be traced to Hellenistic Egypt, from there to Arab Spain and Jewish practitioners of Kabbala, then to late medieval magicians. Magic was a fundamental element in the rituals of the Greek mysteries. There are three basic ‘paths’ in Ritual Magic: the ‘left’ and ‘right.’ These refer to the goal of the magician’s spiritual work.
A “Left hand path” magician usually seeks physical and/or spiritual immortality and magnification of the Higher Self; a right hand path magician seeks union with divine energy and dissolution of the ego/personality. The Middle Way annihilates each thought against its opposite, opening the most direct path to transcendence or primordial awareness of the eternal. Is it a choice to pursue individual glory or immortality rather than union or absorption, or are they in fact different facets of the same paradoxical state?
St. Germaine recorded his version of The Secret to health, wealth and long life in his legendary TRIANGLE BOOK, and apparently made copies for his closest circle of initiates. But, perhaps even then, the entire secret was never entrusted to a single individual, as the copies of the book are not identical, containing different illustrations. Ameretat is one of the Archangels of Zoroastrianism. considered the angel of immortality and ruler over plants. Myrtle is a symbol of immortality. Fir is the evergreen of immortality.
We might deduce that to properly work the formulae in the book, one required the Emblems and Sigils it described. Is this why Manly Palmer Hall possessed two copies of the book, each with different glyphs? It begs the point, were there other copies with even more illustrations required to initiate the whole current -- to attain magical immortality?
The TRIANGLE BOOK (or Triangular Book) differs from many alchemical texts in its language, being more of a ritual invocation than a recipe. Naturally, St. Germain made marvelous plant and herbal medicines (spagyrics) but this book is not about that but about the qualitative Universal Medicine. Meditation is required for all spiritual pursuits, including alchemy, qabalah and magic.
What we know is that both St. Germain and Manly Palmer Hall lived to a ripe old age and remained mentally vibrant, each a great adept of his own era. Can this obscure arcane text -- one of the rarest occult manuscripts -- be the secret of their longevity? The book is alleged to be Egyptian in origin. MPH, himself, can be seen with the book in the frontpiece portrait in his FREEMASONRY OF THE ANCIENT EGYPTIANS.
Here, for possibly the first time ever, the text translation appears publically with the withheld 5 illustrations of the two copies. Even in the originals, it is difficult to make out the precise glyphs of the sigils, but arguably their magical potency is intact. Sigils and emblems often contain hidden meanings, since they are a visual shorthand which can be "read" for their symbolism. Carl Jung used this method as the traditional basis of his alchemically inspired psychology.
Saint Germain had a secret that became a legacy of Manly Palmer Hall (MPH) and his Philosophical Research Society. It was his supreme treasure, which he kept safely hidden in his PRS vault. The two parchment cipher texts now reside in the Getty Research Institute, likewise deep in their library vaults.

LONGEVITY & TRANSCENDENCE
THE TRIANGULAR BOOK OF SAINT-GERMAIN consists of 24 triangular leaves of parchment, 44 manuscript pages, nine inches on each side in a hog-skin cover. A plush-lined case with the figure of a dragon has kept it in pristine shape. The cypher consists of twenty-six arbitrary characters, translatable by frequency.
Presto Chango Manifesto
The Dragon lineage holds the secret to longevity and transcendence. St. Germain was an alchemist renown for his longevity and youthful appearance. Alchemy begins and ends in the quest for eternal life. It is a spiritual technology of rebirth using natural methods that in their effect transcend nature by amplifying that which is immortal within us. It does not exist in nature but must be prepared by Art. Art is a form of manifesting, making and objectifying the world - spiritual physics.
Artists and mystics are aware of their own internal space and thus able to enter it, playing the mindbody like a musical instrument. Looking inside, they see the true nature of reality and can express that literally and symbolically. We all possess the creative potential. All creative acts are a marriage of spirit and matter, reaching down into the body as the source of our essential being and becoming.
Today, we might describe this resonance as accessing energy that regenerates the mindbody. Healing is an aspect of creativity; nature is within and without us. The Magus does not dominate reality but develops embodied psychophysical equilibrium, clarity, wisdom and compassion.
Creative work originates in the body and is projected out into the world. The projections are then internalized into awareness. The bodymind of the artist is an alchemical vessel containing the creative flux during the process of transformation. Awareness and consciousness form a continuous alchemical movement. The creative gold is generated and embodied in the alembic of the mindbody. The mindbody is the same substance as the Cosmos and contains and reveals its mysteries.
Alchemy reduces all to the first state, the ground state of being - original experience that is timeless, infinite. The classical Void, the quantum vacuum is a carrier of information. The energy body or the field body connects us with the negentropic potential of the zero-point field. Radiant light literally emerges from this mystic void. Primordial structuring processes are common to both psyche and matter, working in the gap or empty interval between intention and action.
So, alchemy refines the way the mindbody generates and processes inherent light as medicine. It refines the aspirant's ability for tapping and amplifying Medicine Light. This primordial state is the luminous ground of our being, hidden deep in the heart of things.
All other goals are subordinate to this prime directive which includes meditative techniques for continuing consciousness after death. This Philosopher's Stone is also the Universal Medicine, the regenerative Elixir of Life. The greatest mystery is the LIFE IN DEATH: we don't die but continue in transcendent form. This is the virtual secret of man and nature.
Philosopher's Stone: Man is a microcosm holding the keys to all three kingdoms within himself as the “Thrice Great Hermes.” The athenor of the human body contains within it all that is needed to produce the great circulation. The fire, the First and Last Matter, and the vessel are “One.” Nothing needs to be added to the Stone, except the removal of the impurities that surround and drown it. Raise the fire, evaporate the superfluidities and burn off the dross which inhibits its energy to liberate the Light in its fullest expression. This is the secret of Eternal Life. Light is the root of life in death." WHETHER BEINGS LOVE ME OR FEAR ME IS IRRELEVANT. IF BEINGS GIVE ME THEIR ATTENTION I WILL TAKE THEM TO ENLIGHTENMENT AND BLISS." --Saint Germain
…The outer darkness is a great serpent, the tail of which is in his mouth, and it is outside the whole world, and surroundeth the whole world: in it there are many places of punishment, and it containeth twelve halls – Egyptian Passage (from E. A. Wallis Budge’s Gods of the Egyptians, Vol. 1)
The mythical earth is, in fact, a plane, but this plane is not our "earth" at all, neither our globe, nor a presupposed homocentrical earth. "Earth" is the implied plane through the four points of the year, marked by the equinoxes and solstices, in other words the ecliptic. And this is why this earth is very frequently said to be quadrangular. The four "corners," that is, the zodiacal constellations rising heliacally at both the equinoxes and solstices, parts of the "frame" skambha, are the points which determine an "earth." Every world-age has its own "earth." It is for this very reason that "ends of the world" are said to take place. A new "earth" arises, when another set of zodiacal constellations brought in by the Precession determines the year points. --Hamlet's Mill
"The tradition of the Dragon and the Sun is echoed in every part of the world.…There was a time when the four parts of the world were covered with the temples sacred to the Sun and the Dragon: but the cult is now preserved mostly in China and the Buddhist countries". --Blavatsky, Secret Doctrine
"The Alchemists, who in their own way knew more about the nature of the individuation process than we moderns do, expressed this paradox through the symbol of the oroboros, the snake that eats its own tail. In the age-old image of the uroboros lies the thought of devouring oneself and turning oneself into a circulatory process, for it was clear to the more astute alchemists that the prima materia of the art was man himself. The oroboros is a dramatic symbol for the integration and assimilation of the opposite, i.e. of the shadow. This 'feed-back' process is at the same time a symbol of immortality, since it is said of the oroboros that he slays himself and brings himself to life, fertilizes himself and gives birth to himself. He symbolizes the One, who proceeds from the clash of opposites, and he therefore constitutes the secret of the prima materia which unquestionably stems from man's unconscious ...' -- Jung
Most Adepts in the East follow the ancient traditions of the Dragon, and concentrate on the 'Pearl of Great Price', seeing it as the culmination of change and the attainment, immortality and Eternal Bliss. After the Pearl is created, the Body of Light or 'Diamond Body' becomes active, and the Adept is said to be immortal. The ancient Chinese word for Dragon, literally meant 'rising of the Moon,' referring to this Pearl of Great Price and the Body of Light (Star) of the Immortal. At this point, further progress involves learning about the various states of Immortality beyond Enlightenment. Entrance to Eternity involves the 'Wave of Bliss', the 'Divine Carriage to the Immortal Realms', also referred to as 'Riding the Dragon'. --Nicholas de Vere
ST. GERMAIN HAD A SECRET TREASURE with clues hidden in his TRIANGLE BOOK with the Dragon Emblem. He came from the Dragon lineage. He was a Dragon magus, from an ancient Scythian family which legend says founded both Sumeria and Egypt after the Black Sea flood led to migration.
He pointed toward the ancient wisdom of the Hermetic arts which created the Renaissance. He spoke of treasures still to be found that were lost to the world at the time he was alive. We have now recovered many from the dawn of our written history through archaeology.
Among the treasures he pointed to were the deep history of mankind, the secrets of the heights and depths (heaven and earth; above and below), and the methods of seeking immortality through Medicine Light. We can examine his books, his lineage, his legend, his agenda, his metaphysics, his secret societies, and his legacy for clues. His doctrines are no less interesting than their effects. What he did is likely more important than anything he said. He was a treasure hunter, in the daily world and in his spiritual life, literally and metaphorically.
Among the recovered treasures of mankind, are the oldest known texts including the Enuma Elish or Book of Creation of the Sumerians, and the Epic of Gilgamesh, which were essentially lost to the world beneath the floods and sands of antiquity. In fact, they tell us of the cataclysmic event that led to those disasters nearly 5,000 years ago. Those are treasures of Asia and a deeper historical truth long obscured by the Church.
The treasure of Egypt was passed down from the Dynastic Pharaohs as the Egyptian Book of the Dead and Pyramid texts. The overall teachings of Khem came to be known as alchemy, codified from oral traditions. The oldest texts of alchemy are preserved in the body of work attributed to Hermes Trismegistus, including the Emerald Tablet. These all point mankind toward the heavens, the Light within and illumination.
Alchemy, from its beginnings, was a means to transform the human soul from its base (lead) state to its Enlightened and eternal state (gold). Alchemy lies at the heart of the world’s three dominant modern religions. The word “Alchemy” is derived from Khem, the name of Egypt, “Al” means “of” so the word means “of Egypt.” It came to mean the wisdom of Egypt. Many of the sayings and methods attributed to Hermetica have been traced to hieroglyphic texts that are among the earliest Egyptian writings, others have been traced further back to cuneiform tablets of the Sumerians, dating to 6000-5000 BCE.
Hermetica is the direct descendant of Sumerian and Egyptian philosophy. Several versions of the Emerald Tablet of Hermes were in secret circulation in scattered Jewish enclaves all over Europe, Asia and Russia. Thus many sacred texts were preserved. Hebrews equated Hermes with Enoch (Sumerian derivative), who received direct teachings from God and was eventually taken up into heaven. St. Germain would have access to such works in the Medici library and from his travels in Persia and his own collection. He was inspired by the discoveries of those who preceeded him.
Alchemists and scholars traveled to the city of Florence where their knowledge inspired a cultural flowering under the guidance of the di Medici family. Cosimo di Medici translated the lost works of Plato into Latin in 1438 and sent agents to look for other “lost” works. In 1460, the Thrice Great Hermes was brought back and translated. This heralded the Renaissance (meaning “rebirth”). Greek translations again became available to the West with the invention of the printing press in 1460. They were instrumental in bringing about the modern view of the world. Rumor has it, St. Germain was raised by the last of the Medicis, or at least spent time in his youth exploring their libraries.Earlier, in England, the works of Hermes had a profound effect on Elizabeth I and the circle of learned courtiers that surrounded her. Sir Phillip Sidney, Sir Walter Raleigh, John Donne, Christopher Marlowe, William Shakespeare, George Chapmen, Frances Bacon, Dr. John Dee, and Sir Edward Kelly all studied the Hermetica. Prague, the capital of Bohemia, was an enlightened refuge for Hermetic scholars, Aristotelian philosophers, Jewish Kaballists and scientists from every nation, due to the benevolent attitude of Rudolph II.
Greek versions of the Emerald Tablet of Hermes were treasured by the Moslem conquerors and revered as sources used to develop algebra, number theory, architecture and medicine which until recently far surpassed the West.
In the 9th century, the first University was established in Baghdad and was called “the House of Wisdom.” Many pagan works were translated and taught, studied and practiced. Hermetica became the secret inspiration for many unorthodox religious sects such as the Sabaeans, Sufis (who called Hermes “Idris and Enoch.”), Zoroastrians, Gnosticism and various schools of neo-Platonists. The most notable of the Sufis, Al Hallaj was martyred as a heretic, who loudly espoused the Hermetic wisdom “I am the truth,” and “We are all God.”
BOOK OF THOTH
Many call the Tarot the Book of Thoth, but in many ways, St. Germain's Triangle Book is closer to the descriptions of the allegedly lost or concealed book of Egypt. While Hermes still walked the earth with men, he entrusted to his chosen successors the sacred Book of Thoth.
This work contained the secret processes by which the regeneration of humanity was to be accomplished and also served as the key to his other writings. St. Germain did exactly the same thing. The Triangle Book is his Book of Thoth. This description of the Book of Thoth describes the content and history of The Triangle Book.
According to legend, the Book of Thoth was kept in a golden box in the inner sanctuary of the temple. There was but one key and this was in the possession of the "Master of the Mysteries," the highest initiate of the Hermetic Arcanum. He alone knew what was written in the secret book. The Book of Thoth was lost to the ancient world with the decay of the Mysteries, but its faithful initiates carried it sealed in the sacred casket into another land. The book is still in existence and continues to lead the disciples of this age into the presence of the Immortals. No other information can be given to the world concerning it now, but the apostolic succession from the first hierophant initiated by Hermes himself remains unbroken to this day, and those who are peculiarly fitted to serve the Immortals may discover this priceless document if they will search sincerely and tirelessly for it. Hermes in his Book of Thoth revealed to all mankind the "One Way," and for ages the wise of every nation and every faith have reached immortality by the "Way" established by Hermes in the midst of the darkness for the redemption of humankind.
The Book of Thoth contained the secret processes by which the regeneration of humanity was to be accomplished and also served as the key to his other writings. Nothing definite is known concerning the contents of the Book of Thothother than that its pages were covered with strange hieroglyphic figures and symbols, which gave to those acquainted with their use unlimited power over the spirits of the air and the subterranean divinities.
When certain areas of the brain are stimulated by the secret processes of the Mysteries, the consciousness of man is extended and he is permitted to behold the Immortals and enter into the presence of the superior gods. The Book of Thoth described the method whereby this stimulation was accomplished. In truth, therefore, it was the "Key to Immortality."
The Emerald Tablet of Hermes is the original source of Hermetic Philosophy and Alchemy. According to one legend, the text was originally carved by Hermes on tablets of emerald and placed in the King's Chamber of the Great Pyramid of Cheops. True or not, St. Germain likely thought so as he claims it as his source in the Triangle Book.
Is there another dimension, not generally recognized, connected to the continuity of an esoteric spiritual tradition which is designed to help and guide the human race along a trajectory of spiritual evolution? This may incorporate a long term strategy involving various mystery schools and esoteric orders, and their ‘seeding’ specific knowledge into the human consciousness at various stages of its developing awareness.
There is an esoteric tradition which tells of the presence of spiritual adepts who have apparently lived for hundreds, possibly thousands, of years. The feasibility of this is borne out by the apparent extreme longevity of members of the Noachian dynastic lineage.
Whether you believe it or not, it makes a fascinating tale, which may be more than metaphor or hyperbole. After all, modern Chinese Taoists and Tibetan Buddhists make much the same claim for their own ancestors and lineage of tulkus. Some compilations of Tang dynasty stories tell of children possessed by the spirits (shen) of learned men through avesa or spiritual trance. Hermes Trimegistus may be the first face-shifter who claimed this spiritual power.
In Hindusism, Avesa Avatars are considered inspirational embodiments, ritual possession, a channeling trance state. Blavatsky says that a true Brahmana is one who has become a dvija (twice-born or initiate) and one "whose seven forefathers have drunk the juice of the moon-plant (Soma),' and who is a 'Trisuparna' ("three-leaved or -winged" or active in the highest three principles).
Theosophy decribes avesa:
Avesa (Sanskrit) (from a-vis, to enter into); Presence, in-soulment; Vesa means dress and avesa means absorption; possessed with divine powers; an entry and penetration by the divine. An entering, entrance, or taking possession of, as in the instance of an obsession; in later times used to denote a fit of anger or demoniacal frenzy. In occult literature used for the temporary occupancy of a human body for specific purposes by an adept, or to refer to an avatara during the presence of the divine influence on earth. Thus it is similar in meaning to the Tibetan tulku.
Avesa, therefore, means the taking possession of, or temporary embodiment in, a body, human or other, by an outside entity or power. A classical instance of the avesa is the story of Sankaracharya who, to gain in that embodiment the human experiences of a life of another character, entered the body of a raja who had just died, requickened it, and for a time pursued his activities in the body of the former king. (Theosophy Dictionary)
To prevent any misunderstanding it should be realized that the overshadowing of a living person by a more spiritually developed individual is not mediumship in the ordinary sense. It is not the occupation of a living body by the supposed spirit of a deceased person, a "control." The temporary overshadowing or inspiration of a chela or even of an ordinary person by an adept is well known in the East, and is often mentioned in Indian literature. It is recorded that the great teacher Sankaracharya exercised this occult power in his sacred work. It is called avesa. (Ryan, 1975)
THE POWER OF AVESA
Some of those so possessed are ignorant, but what happens when a master practitioner enters the body of another of equal or greater caliber? In a deep sense, all spiritual masters are one and avesa incarnation can expess that profound identity, at-onement. The Adept is re-born consciously, at his will and pleasure in a suitable form. This belief alone could have the effect of ritual drama; symbolic, imaginative action urging the mind to develop states of absorption and expansion, drawing on resources beyond oneself.
The Rosicrucians suggest St. Germain had been Sir Francis Bacon, who was reincarnated from mystic Roger Bacon. A 17th century treatise by the Abbé N. de Montfaucon de Villars, entitled Comte de Gabalis contains the following illuminating exposition:
"In the Order of the Philosophers are enrolled the names of many Brothers who have feigned death in one place or who have mysteriously disappeared, only to transplant themselves to another....In the higher degrees of the Order, a Philosopher has power to abandon one physical body no longer suited to his purpose, and to occupy another previously prepared for his use. This transition is called an Avesa, and accounts for the fact that many Masters known to history seemingly never die." (Barry Dunford)
Some occultists believe that Sir Francis Bacon continued his mastership through the 18th century as Comte de St. Germaine. The Count was an international spy, ringleader of secret societies, enlightened visionary and proponent of U.S. freedom, urging on the Founding Fathers in their faltering moments. He was absorbed by the spirit of the mystics who came before him, their Presence possessed him utterly, metaphorically if not literally.
The Count carried much of Bacon's agenda and political philosophy forward in a rapidly changing world, ratifying the magical current of Roger Bacon, John Dee, Sir Francis Bacon, and himself. The least we can say is that they shared a common vision. But that vision was an external reality, as grand as it was. But what of the means to accomplish such lofty goals, and what of the inner man of St. Germain?
First and foremost Saint-Germain was an initiate. His occult, kabbalistic and alchemical knowledge came from Hungary, Germany, Persia, Egypt, Britain, Italy, France, Spain, India, Tibet and the Far East. Having learned initiatory techniques from many ancient cultures, he passed them on in stages to his brothers in secret societies. Like Hermes in the Corpus Hermeticum, he explains the various stages of attainment in his Trinosophia.
Shamanic rites of burial and soul-travel arose among hunter-gatherers, while death/rebirth is a motif of agrarian society. It allows a personal encounter with wisdom. Hermetics and Kabbala are means of systematically educating the mindbody and spirit. One becomes rooted in the Self.
The dual principle of initiation is Initiation as Education and Initiation as Liberation. The Fear of Death is our primal motivator and Rebirth is the promise of nature, as resurrection, psychic liberation, or enlightenment is the promise of spirit.
Death and rebirth is a natural cycle and cosmic pattern. The symbolic life leads toward an ecstatic demolition of the ego and liberation of a transcendent, individual nature. But the way is precarious and no certain goals are ever in sight.
What happens when we die is a primal question. How we answer it is our belief paradigm. Mankind has always had the capacity to trance-out or appropriate another mode of being transcending the human condition.
The old self dies in rebirth to an unconditioned mode of being. The initiate creates a new body, a spiritual body as a vehicle of consciousness. It is the object of the Opus, the refining of the gross material of the body-soul complex until it shines like a self-luminous diamond body.
We can call it Nirvana, or Resurrection or the Philosopher's Stone.
St. Germain left a legacy for the wisest of his fellow initiates. This text has a winged Dragon on the front and is triangular in shape, and written in a three-fold code. Therefore, it has been called The Triangle Book. An emphasis on three keys and three principles resonates with the Thrice-Born Hermes-Thoth, presumed source of the teachings, and its three main magical prescriptions, including actualizing the potential of the energy body or biophotonic field body. St. Germain writes: The Holy Magic revealed to Moses discovered within an Egyptian monument and preciously preserved in Asia under the emblem of a winged dragon.
1. To find things lost in the seas since the flooding of the globe.
2.To discover mines and diamonds, gold and silver within the bowels of the earth.
3. To preserve one's health and prolong one's life for a century, as if still fifty.
THE CODE OF ST. GERMAIN
The unusual triangular shape of the book itself implies the Three Principles of alchemy -- Salt, Mercury and Sulpher -- body, soul and spirit. The triangle itself upright is a symbol of fire; reversed of water; and interlaced of the union of opposites.
The triangle form could also suggest a triple meaning for the contents of the book: Alchemy, Qabalism and Hermeticism. It is a recipe not only for experiencing a symbol in one's inner world but for manifesting it in reality, for becoming a living embodiment of Limitless Light. The Avatamsaka Sutra tells us that Buddha (All that is ) has a three-fold body: 1) an aspect of Essence 2) an aspect of potentiality 3) an aspect of manifestation.
The triangle is a 2-dimensional representation of a pyramid -- a virtual resurrection machine. There are 20 triangular faces in an icosahedron, eight in an octahedron, four in a tetahedron, etc. The triangle, or tetrahedron is the geometric basis of all forms.
Precious stones exhibit crystalline structures. The structure of the diamond, face-centered cubic close pack, is related to the tetrahedron and alchemical squaring of the circle, the creation of the Philosopher’s Stone. When the Triangle Book is opened, it makes a 2-d octahedron, the crystaline diamond shape, inherent in the geometry of the Diamond Body or Merkabah om Kabbalah.
The tetrahedron is the most basic shape to be found in the three-dimensional universe of volume. The Merkaba Star Tetrahedron is actually two tetrahedrons interlocked to form a three-dimensional Seal of Solomon, Star of David or Flower of Life, the seed of matter at the root of quantum processes.
The Seal of Solomon is the sought-after symbol for the psyche, i.e., the unifier of above and below, between the archetypal feminine and the archetypal masculine, between matter and spirit. This geometry is central to the qabalistic Tree of Life, and the mystical light meditation of Middle Pillar Exercise. Its potential is fulfilled in the radiant Diamond Body vehicle of consciousness, also called the Merkaba. One who has mastered this light awareness process is a "Dragon." LIGHT ON ST. GERMAIN
The Key to St. Germain is THE EMERALD TABLET OF HERMES TRISMEGISTUS, (called "the whole of magic in one page"), which proclaims the secret of Hermes that LIGHT IS THE KEY. The alchemists taught that the first goal is to find the Philosopher's Stone or the Elixir of Life, the Key to Immortality. Then, the Stone is applied to the lead, or man himself, to change it into gold, or the immortal.
In St. Germain's time, the book was rumored to come from the initiatory chambers of the Great Pyramid. It is the Key to Wisdom, to the Mysteries, to Magic, to Freedom of Space, to Time, to Above & Below, to Prophecy, to Life & Death, and the Secret of Secrets...Immortality. In Egypt, Hermes was known as Thoth, god of writing, science, and the mind.
Thoth is a symbol of the higher mind, the bridge of the gate between heaven and hell, higher and lower nature -- the wisdom way. Among the arts and sciences which Hermes revealed to mankind were medicine, chemistry, law, architecture, astrology, music, rhetoric, Magic, philosophy, geography, mathematics (especially geometry), anatomy, and oratory. The caduceus associated with the healer Hermes corresponds symbolically with the chakras and serpent power of kundalini.
All Hermetic writings are focused on Medicine Light and mystical meditation. The Emerald Tablet says, "all things have been & arose from One by the meditation of One: so all things have their birth from this one thing by adaptation." Their echoes of primordial light and formative sound, the Word, have permeated and resonate in the teachings of all the mystery schools and most of the great religions.
Hermes prescribed primal awareness of ourselves as beings of Light, and that light was medicinal -- our source and refuge. This is still true in Masonry, Rosicrucianism, Sufism, Sant Mat, Tibetan Buddhism, Qabalism, Magick, and a host of other mystic paths. It is "Zero-Point Medicine," by which we can renew and sustain ourselves and realize our potential.
THE LIGHT & THE WORD
Absence can be the most compelling form of presence. When we look inside we find that emptyness is pregant with fullness of the plenum. Potentially healing light emerges from the void. The void can be a painful experience, but embracing that pain we return from the Abyss transformed. Embodied imagination emerges from emptiness. Vast un-originated self-luminous wisdom space is the ground of being. The ancients found it so when they looked within, and it is still our truth.
The Emerald Tablets say:
Thy Light, O man, is the great Light, shining through the shadow of flesh. Free must thou rise from the darkness before thou art One with the Light.
Light is life, for without the great Light nothing can ever exist. Know ye, that in all formed matter, the heart of Light always exists. Aye, even though bound in the darkness, inherent Light always exists.
Ever his destiny shall lead him onward until he is One with the Light. Aye, though his way lies midst the shadows, ever before him glows the Great Light. Dark though the way be yet shall he conquer the shadows that flow around him like night.
Far in the future, I see man as Light-born, free from the darkness that fetters the Soul, living in Light without the bounds of the darkness to cover the Light that is Light of their Soul.
Hear ye the Word that shall fill thee with Life. Hear ye the Word that shall banish the darkness. Hear ye the voice that shall banish the night.
When at the end of thy work appointed, thou may desire to pass from this life, pass to the plane where the Suns of the Morning live and have being as Children of Light. Pass without pain and pass without sorrow into the plane where is eternal Light.
Now I command ye to maintain my secrets, giving only to those ye have tested, so that the pure may not be corrupted, so that the power of Truth may prevail. List ye now to the unveiling of Mystery. List to the symbols of Mystery I give. Make of it a religion for only thus will its essence remain.
Go forth and conquer the element of darkness. Exalt in thy nature thine essence of Light. Calm let thy mind be. At rest be thy body: Conscious only of freedom from flesh. Center thy being on the goal of thy longing. Think over and over that thou wouldst be free. Think of this word—La-Um-I-L-Gan—over and over in thy mind let it sound. Drift with the sound to the place of thy longing. Free from the bondage of flesh by thy will.
Lie ye down in rest of thy body. Calm thy mind so no thought disturbs thee. Pure must ye be in mind and in purpose, else only failure will come unto thee. Vision Amenti as I have told in my Tablets. Long with fullness of heart to be there. Stand before the Lords in thy mind’s eye. Pronounce the words of power I give (mentally); Mekut-El-Shab-El Hale-Sur-Ben-El-Zabrut Zin-Efrim-Quar-El. Relax thy mind and thy body. Then be sure your soul will be called.
Leave thou thy body as I have taught thee. Pass to the barriers of the deep, hidden place. Stand before the gates and their guardians. Command thy entrance by these words: “I am the Light. In me is no darkness. Free am I of the bondage of night. Open thou the way of the Twelve and the One, so I may pass to the realm of wisdom.” When they refuse thee, as surely they will, command them to open by these words of power: “I am the Light. For me are no barriers. Open, I command, by the Secret of Secrets—Edom-El-Ahim-Sabbert-Zur Adom.”
BODY OF LIGHT
The body of light is a spiritual term for the non-physical body associated with enlightenment. It is known by many names in different spiritual traditions, such as "the resurrection body" and "the glorified body" in Christianity, "the most sacred body" (wujud al-aqdas) and "supracelestial body" (jism asli haqiqi) in Sufism, "the diamond body" in Taoism and Vajrayana, "the light body" or "rainbow body" in Tibetan Buddhism, "the body of bliss" in Kriya Yoga, and "the immortal body" (soma athanaton) in Hermeticism.
Enlightenment is not purely psychological; it is psychophysical, including the energy or subtle body. In the course of realizing full human potential, physical changes also occur, most dramatically in the later phases of the enlightenment process. In the final phase, according to various sacred traditions, the body is alchemically changed into light.
Enlightenment becomes literally so, through the transubstantiation of flesh, blood, and bone into an immortal body of light. Through a combination of personal effort and divine grace, a person attains a deathless condition through the alchemical transmutation of his or her ordinary fleshly body. This transubstantiated body is called various names in the traditions, such as light body, solar body, diamond body, or resurrection body. (John White)http://www.wie.org/j21/white.asp
The radiant ground is the fundamental source beyond the boundary layer of quantum foam. Our healing task is to somehow realize this radiant image of the body in earth, to ground this body in its essential nature, which is the source of creativity and healing. It is precisely in the world, in life itself, that we experience compassion, wisdom, enlightenment. It is only our persistent rigid delusions to the contrary that prevents us from realizing it every moment.
Meditation masters speak of an inner Light that pervades the physical and energy bodies, and now science investigates it as biophotons, and through quantum physics we can watch that matter/energy/information devolve back into the unstructured void from which potential emanates.
Mystics have often equated this pervasive Light/Sound with primordial Consciousness and the source of life as well as matter. Quantum bioholography shows the DNA literally produces coherent light, which transduces to sound that directs the formative processes of life. Radiant energy is radiant energy. Whether we look outside into our environment or inside into ourselves we find primordial Light.
Biophotons are weak emissions of light radiated from the cells of all living things. The light is too faint to be seen by the naked eye, but biophotons have been detected and verified using photomultiplier tubes. Light is constantly being absorbed and remitted by DNA molecules within each cell's nucleus, creating a dynamic, coherent web of light. This system could be responsible for chemical reactions within the cells, cellular communication throughout the organism, and the overall regulation of the biological system, including embryonic development into a predetermined form.
Photonic Body is a biohologram projected by coherent light and sound. We arise from and are sustained by field phenomena, waves of biophotonic light and sound, which form our essential nature through acoustic holography This coherent light transduces itself into radio waves (holographic biophoton field), which carry sound as information that decodes the 4-D form as a material object. We also suspect chromosomes transform their genetic-sign laser radiations into broadband genetic-sign radio waves. The polarizations of chromosome laser photons are connected nonlocally and coherently to polarizations of radio waves. Thus, we have an explicit physical analogue for the traditional mystical apprehension of inner Light and the Audible Life Stream.
Sacred Light is generated internally by DMT, the spirit molecule. Meditation evokes pineal DMT release through EM vibrations. Visionary experience with symbolic or religious content gives way to dazzling light of illumination, reported in eastern and western religions.
In the Judeo-Christian tradition, it is called "the resurrection body " and "the glorified body." The prophet Isaiah said, "The dead shall live, their bodies shall rise" (Isa. 26:19). St. Paul called it "the celestial body" or "spiritual body " (soma pneumatikon) (I Corinthians 15:40). In Sufism it is called "the most sacred body " (wujud al-aqdas) and "supracelestial body " (jism asli haqiqi). In Taoism, it is called "the diamond body," and those who have attained it are called "the immortals" and "the cloudwalkers." In Tibetan Buddhism it is called "the light body." In Tantrism and some schools of yoga, it is called "the vajra body," "the adamantine body," and "the divine body." In Kriya yoga it is called "the body of bliss." In Vedanta it is called "the superconductive body." In Gnosticism and Neoplatonism, it is called "the radiant body."
In the alchemical tradition, the Emerald Tablet calls it "the Glory of the Whole Universe" and "the golden body." The alchemist Paracelsus called it "the astral body." In the Hermetic Corpus, it is called "the immortal body " (soma athanaton). In some mystery schools, it is called "the solar body." In Rosicrucianism, it is called "the diamond body of the temple of God." In ancient Egypt it was called "the luminous body or being" (ankh).
In Old Persia it was called "the indwelling divine potential" (fravashi or fravarti). In the Mithraic liturgy it was called "the perfect body " (soma teilion). In the philosophy of Sri Aurobindo, it is called "the divine body," composed of supramental substance. In the philosophy of Teilhard de Chardin, it is called "the ultrahuman."
The idea of the “Body of Light” often called the “Rainbow” or “Diamond Body” is the perfection of a vehicle for the exteriorization (projection), and continuation of consciousness beyond material reality. In Qabala, the astral body has access to three levels of consciousness, and then must be shed, or encounter the ‘Second Death” in order to penetrate the Veil, or Paroketh, to the next three levels of the “Thrice Born.”
Zero-Point Medicine The vacuum potential is the Void. But the Void is not devoid. It may appear to be latent in interatomic space, and in our own field bodies, but it is probably active in several states at once in the quantum field. That field is the energetic “void”, or “vacuum,” the space of the “ether,” the subtle but ultrapowerful energy potentially available at zero point.
In meditation we sit and still the mind by shifting power from mind to awareness, persistently and progressively. We reach the stable stillpoint in which the tendencies of body and mind become virtually motionless. All causes of imbalance and disorder are quiet, intentionally, and we rest in the nature of awareness, free of the tendencies of mind and body. We rest in the field of primordial awareness, the fundamental nature of clear light. Psychologically it is equivalent to open space; it is open being. But in contrast to being empty, it is charged with potential.
When we quiet down the activity of the body and mind, we come to the energetic open space of psychological freedom and the human potential. This is the essence of healing, the return to the unconditioned state, free of all conditioning and full of subtle power. Meditation brings us into personal stillpoint, the point of release and reconnection. Practicing this state for health purposes may be called the life-affirming practice of "zero point medicine." (Robert Bruce Newman, 1991)
The potential of zero point energy in one cubic centimeter of the primordial ground is enough energy, converted into mass, to generate more mass than that visible in our most powerful telescope. Physicists are actively working toward harnessing zero point energy potential -- free energy. Meditation teachers see the crucial need, perhaps more than at any other time in history, to realize the unlimited inner space of our own true nature at best, and the healing qualities of self-regulation, at least.
The groundstate of our being is a psionically-charged FIERCE LUMINOSITY emanating from the vast roiling ocean of the creative vacuum – the endless sea of creation. What IS is, and the primal matrix is the eternal shimmering, full vacuum of space -- IS-ness. Light is an excitation of empty space. The absolute vacuum is devoid of all structure, but the false vacuum contains frozen energies as photons, bosons, quarks, electrons and gravity. Both mysticism and science describe the nature of deep reality in their different vocabularies. They have Nothing in common. Science itself appears somewhat mystical when we realize that we don’t really know the nature of spacetime, gravity, light, electricity, magnetism, energy and mass (and antimatter) or the origin of our universe, but we have sometimes cherished beliefs about how they behave.
In each and every nano-instant, we are reborn at the birthplace of matter, much like a refreshing screen. We are virtual dipoles capable of integrating coherent virtual energy from the vacuum and transducing it into usable EM energy. Electrically, this is called an "open path." This is our field body, or energetic form. All atoms, including those of our bodies, are 99.999% space with an accompanying informational content (holographic blueprint).
In modern life, many are seeking meaning in both a deeper physical and spiritual understanding. The distinction is blurring as our understanding deepens. Mystics of all religions have probed the deep nature of reality for millennia by looking within themselves. They have found many reflections of the universe and the Void within in a mental vacuum state.
There is only one mind. We call it Universal Mind, or the Diamond Matrix. Like the Dirac Sea, it is likened to an ocean of potential. In the perennial philosophy, sacred truth says universal mind permeates everything throughout the whole universe. It is an unobservable infinite energy field – a sparkling, radiant diamond-expanse.
This diamond-like clarity of truth unveiled is perceptible through meditation, wisdom, inspiration, creativity and genius. It is the source of Knowledge, gnosis. There is tremendous spiritual potential in emptyness. There is a correlation, if not identity, between the vacuum within of contemplatives and the vacuum without of science.
In Qabalah, it correlates with The Abyss and the three Veils of Negative Existence – Ain, Ain Soph, and Ain Soph Aur. It is the time-energy pump of manifestation, siphoning negative time from the virtual vacuum. The Abyss is the relative vacuum and the Three Veils of Negative Existence are the absolute vacuum in Qabalah.
Dissolving old forms allows for self-organizing rebirth from one’s depths. Dissolving utterly gives rise to the potential of holistic repatterning. This is the model of the process of dynamic transformation, ego death and re-creation. That which was solid becomes liquified, dissolved, deliteralized. The concrete image of the body and turbulent thoughts “morph” into the flow of pure radiance -- undifferentiated energy potential.
A return to the absolute void is a return to the womb for rebirth after destructuring or creative regression. It means a process of ego dissolution and personality deconstruction, swimming upstream against the flow of the stream of consciousness to our Unborn roots. We reach “escape velocity” beyond our personalistic behaviors, emotions, thoughts, and beliefs about who "we" are.
In this dynamic model there are no “things”, just energetic events. Light and sound (acoustic cymatics) modulate all matter. This “holoflux” includes the ultimately flowing nature of what is, and all possible forms. All the objects of our world are three-dimensional images formed of standing and moving waves by electromagnetic and nuclear processes. This is the guiding matrix for self-assembly, and manipulating and organizing physical reality. It is how our DNA creates and projects our psychophysical structure. Our brains mathematically construct ‘concrete’ reality by interpreting frequencies from another dimension. This information realm of meaningful, patterned primary reality transcends time and space. Thus, the brain is an embedded hologram, interpreting a holographic universe. Supernal light emerges from this ground of being, both in the cosmos and our human brains and bodies.
All existence consists of embedded holograms within holograms, fractally embedded waves within waves of clear light. Their interrelatedness somehow gives rise to our existence and sensory images. When we embody this intimate wisdom, our bodies become temples of the living spirit.
Absolute space is the womb of creation and the physics of virtual photon fluctuation reflects not only Nature, but also our nature. Only now are we learning just how literal that experience of Light is, and the interactive mechanisms it engages in our holistic psychophysical Being.
SPARKLING DIAMOND EXPANSE
The meditation model describes direct apprehension of this experience as awareness of ‘Nothing whatsoever,’ total blankness which is utterly open and indescribable, yet recognition of your timeless primal nature. Cutting through mere stillness reveals an undivided, wide-awake, clear and vivid state. One penetrates the true nature of all phenomena.
The scientific and mystical views complement one another. Primordial consciousness is the ultimate groundstate. The ultimate vacuum is also the substrate of consciousness, which can be experienced as a relative mental phenomena during the direct experience of meditative quiescence. The mind disengages from the senses and its own content.
This natural, unencumbered state of mind has an intrinsic radiance and purity. Its radiant potential can be revealed by calming superficial turbulence and making the senses dormant. Only the radiant state of clear consciousness remains. All clarity comes from this luminous substrate shining through normal sensory and mental phenomena.
This state has been described as “an unfluctuating state, in which one experiences bliss like the warmth of a fire, luminosity like the dawn, and nonconceptuality like an ocean unmoved by waves.” Terms may vary in different spiritual schools but the phenomenology of vivid luminosity remains the same. Biochemically, it is likely related to pineal secretions of the natural psychedelic DMT (dimethyltryptamine). But this hormone alone cannot confer the trained ability to focus and concentrate, which stabilize the realization.
When we look within, this is what we see – the individual stream of consciousness. This relative vacuum experience does not liberate the mind nor is it absolute Reality. Our perceptions and concepts all arise in our consciousness not the objective physical world.
All phenomena emanate from absolute space, including those that constitute our subjective phenomenal experience. Absolute vacuum is only realized by contemplative insight in primordial consciousness. Awareness becomes limitless in scope. All states are permeated by the clear light of primordial awareness.
The open fundamental nature of the mind meets the fundamental nature of the experienced world. This nondual union is called The Great Perfection, or “One Taste.” (Wallace) It is the lowest possible state of activity coupled with the highest potential for freedom possible. It is a boundless wellspring of inspired creativity.
REALIZING OUR ULTIMATE POTENTIAL Existence of potential being can indirectly be proved by the spontaneous creation of actual being in the quantum physical observation act. We need to and can employ ancient spiritual technologies to heal the species from its destructive tendencies, psychological disturbances, and disease conditions. The disturbances, primarily fear-based, dominate international relations, are the cause of irremediable damage to the living environment and even greater psychological imbalances, causing ever-greater suffering and limitation. The alchemists, students of consciousness in matter, sought an elixir of life, a “medicine of philosophers”, a cure-all or panacea. What the modern world yearns for is a “meta-syn,” or contemporary visionary synthesis rooted not in a mechanistic model but one using nature’s own forms of self-organization. This unified field theory is the Holy Grail of physics. Medicine Light, unified psychophysical reality, is that proscribed panacea.Meditation training for children -- our legacy -- is our available method. We can draw from the treasure chest of antiquity, from the unviolated treasury of meditation science, to dispel and prevent psychological disturbance and corresponding diseases with zero point medicine, at this turning point in history. WE ourselves, lightworkers, are the legacy of St. Germain, who dedicated his life to global democratization and illumination as the fulfillment of human potential -- to the Body of Light.
The alchemical regression to the fluid state of matter corresponds, in the cosmologies, to the primordial chaotic state, and in the initiation rituals, to the "death" of the initiate. --Mircea Eliade
THE DRAGON TREASURES of Saint Germain
Magic, Transcendence & Longevity
by Iona Miller, 4-2010
Ex Dono Sapientissimi Comitis St. Germain Qui Orbem Terrarum Per Cucurrit.
By the gift of the most wise Comte St. Germain who passed through the circle of the Earth.
The Holy Magic revealed to Moses discovered within an Egyptian monument and preciously preserved in Asia under the emblem of a Winged Dragon.
1. To find things lost in the seas since the flooding of the globe.
2. To discover mines and diamonds, gold and silver within the bowels of he earth.
3. To preserve one's health and prolong one's life for a century, and that with the freshness of fifty years, and the strength of that age.
You should do your operations for the first two objects only when the sun, earth, and moon are found in conjunction in the same line, and within the same plane. As for the third marvel, you may perform the operation at any time, but it is necessary to carry on your person a figure like that which you see here.
DRAGONS OF CREATION, DESTRUCTION, REGENERATION, GNOSIS & ENLIGHTENMENT
The dragon is a symbol of immortality and archetype of the creative process. The dragon guards the alchemical treasure. The ouroborous dragon that eats its own tail signifies cyclic nature. The secret of the Great Work is you must bring your own experience to it.
One paradoxical meaning of the downward-pointing or inverted triangle is the Sacred Uterus, the womb, through which we are born into life, and the tomb through which we are reborn in the eternal spiritual world. It represents the magical potential for transformation and projecting into the future, forever - perpetual life.
What is resurrected is a hyperdimensional vehicle of consciousness. Mere matter is transcended in a new dimension. Spirit and matter are realized as One. The hunger is for eternal life in this life (transcendence) and the blessing of youthfulness at any age by feeding on the energetic matrix.
The triangle is the archetypal symbol of a sacred enclosure, since space cannot be bounded by fewer than three lines. Thus, the triangle is conceived as the first closed figure to emerge when creation emerged from chaos. In this aspect it is known as the root of all manifested nature.
The inverted triangle is a symbol of feminine power, the creative essence of the universe, also known as Shakti. It is the still mind in union with the infinite, the dynamism of Shakti, Sophia or Shekinah that gives rise to the creative impulse in nature. It is the matrix from which "nothing" becomes "something."
The cosmic triangle is the Womb or Water of Space, the great Nothingness, literally invisibly radiant with omnipresent virtual photonic Light -- the seed of all-containing Space. It is the "sea of Binah," the waters of wisdom, the primordial sea, or in modern terms, "the Dirac Sea" of vacuum fluctuation. The "milk" of the High Priestess flows from the eight-armed cross to form the Milky Way, the spiral vortex or labyrinth of the cosmic Dragon or Ourobouros. At the circumpolar point, the All-Seeing Eye of the Dragon peers both into and out of the Void.
The beauty and power of eternity is found in that Void or Abyss that is EverywhereAlwaysForever Cosmic Zero Point. Retrieving spiritual gold, gems and Mysteries from this hyperdimensional matrix is the work of magic, the energetic science. The trick is aligning one's intentionality with universal necessity.
The Man, the Myth & the Magic
We can presume Count St. Germain was well aware of this triangle symbolism when he created such a uniquely shaped manuscript. He would know it embodied the ancient triad of being, reason and love. The initiates into the Isis-Osiris mystery-myth believed that ultimate reality is numerical, that number is the key to the universe, that triangles are the fundamental building blocks of the cosmos and that geometry is the sacred science. They studied the properties of the circle and the geometry of the sphere for use in astronomy as well as esoterics.
In a sense, St. Germain's DRAGON BOOK is his own magical child come down to us, yet still sequestered in the womblike vaults of great libraries. All European alchemy began with translations. Madame Blavatsky, mentions a "Cypher Rosicrucian Manuscript" in his possession. She emphasized the Eastern tone of the views held by M. de St. Germain. If he didn't write it, he certainly cherished and promoted it to his peers. The work can be viewed simply as a historical and literary artifact, or unpacked for its encoded esoteric secrets.
Perhaps we can even read more into it than what we find on the page because it leads into the realm of the imaginal -- of active imagination, intentionally directed into deeper dimensions. It's ritual opens a portal. Some of the "treasures" resurrected and recontextualized here were unknown in St. Germain's time. Still, perhaps his work foreshadowed these archaeological, scientific and geneological finds. Perhaps an aspect of Immortality is simply "acting ahead wisely." Often we are doing more than we can possibly know.
The Theosophists claim that while Christian Rosencreuz, the founder of the Rosicrucian Order, "transmitted his teachings orally, St. Germain recorded the doctrines in figures, and one of his exciphered manuscripts became the property of his staunch friend, Prince Karl von Hesse. H.P.B. mentions this manuscript in The Secret Doctrine (II, 202) and quotes at length from another (II, 582)." We can presume that book to be either Trinosophia or the Triangular Book, both of which the Count kept in his possession.
Saint-Germain was a member of the Paris Chapter of the Knights Templar. He was the Obermohr [supreme magus] of many mystic brotherhoods, where he was worshipped as a superior being. A definite commission appears to have been given to the Freemasons by the H.O.A.T.F., the Master the Comte de S. Germain, "to mold all the various traditions, which He had caused them to inherit, into a rite which should express to some extent the power for good of the Egyptian succession in a form suited to a more modern age."
According to Albert Pike, a 33rd degree Scottish Rite Mason, and American Civil War general, the successors to the Illuminati were the Asiatic Brethren, a secret order created by Moses Dobrushka, Jacob Frank’s nephew and successor. The Asiatic Brethren, also known as the Fratres Lucis, or the Brotherhood of Light, comprised chiefly of Jews, Turks, Persians, and Armenians, and purportedly represented a survival of the same “Johannite Christians” rescued by the Templars, that is, the Sabians. Their full title was The Knights and Brethren of St. John the Evangelist.
The Grand Master of the Asiatic Brethren, and leading member of the Illuminati, was Prince Karl of Hessen-Kassel, the brother of Wilhelm, and cousin to Frederick II the Great of Prussia. Another member of the Asiatic Brethren was the Comte de St. Germain. St. Germain was a permanent houseguest of Karl’s, who called him “the greatest philosopher who ever lived,” and nicknamed him “Papa”.
St. Germain was in St Petersburg, where he participated in a conspiracy when the Russian army assisted Catherine the Great in usurping the throne from her husband Peter III of Russia. Catherine the Great is remembered as one of the “Enlightened Monarchs”, because she implemented several political and cultural reforms on behalf of the Illuminati.
Voltaire, with whom she maintained regular correspondence, called her “Semiramis of Russia”, in reference to the ancient Babylonian queen, on whom the worship of the goddess Astarte was based. Catherine was succeeded by her son Csar Paul I. In her memoirs, she strongly implies that his father was not her husband Peter III, but her lover Sergei Saltykoff, one of many aliases of the Comte St. Germain. Paul's birth in 1754 would have been close to the surfacing of the Triangular Book. This linked Saint Germain's blood to subsequent royal families. Presumably his connection to the Dragon lineage is as son of the deposed Prince Rakoczy of Transylvania.
If he isn't the prototype of a charismatic yet scandalous celebrity, he certainly was a cause celeb in his century. Despite rumors and detractors, his memory was not forgotten, and by the end of the nineteenth century, hierophants of the secret schools looked upon Saint-Germain with profound gratitude. His influence helped open the way for humanism and republicanism.
Grand Trine & Sacred Geometry
The Dragon Book of St. Germain (1750) is a cryptic manual of ceremonial magic with three stated purposes that unravel infinite threads of investigation in metahistory, metaphysics, transformation and cosmology. It is a dynamic fractal nest of embedded meaning.
The triangle unfolds into a tetrahedron, and the hyperdimensionally energetic star-tetrahedron, Diamond Body or Merkabah field body. In cymatics, the science of sound vibration, making an "Ahhh" sound causes sand on a flat surface to vibrate into a Star of David. It is the geometry of interconnection, involution and explosion.
Buckminster Fuller takes the circle, triangle and square into three dimensions. The da Vinci Man is based on the circle, triangle and square. The "circle" is the closest compactification of spheres. The "triangle" is the four triangular sides of the tetrahedron. The "square" is the diamond form created by the upper and lower triangles of the four-sided octahedron.
The essence of Fuller's theory of structures is the vector equilibrium, which is essentially a geometric free-energy "machine," a transducer of virtual to manifest energy. At the very core of this structure is the rhombic dodecahedron. This form is created by the closest packing of spheres. Looking at one side of the rhombic dodecahedron reveals the diamond structure of its octahedral dual. This is the primordial template of human embryos -- embryonic zero point.
His dragon book says St. Germain wrote it for his closest associates, but its contents appear to be a much older work in the hermetic style of The Sacred Magic of Abramelin the Mage, a conjuring work of "Solomonic" magic. Unlike the concealed Dragon Book, Abramelin circulated in Europe. Mathers’s translation was from an 18th century French translation of a 17th century German translation of a supposed Hebrew original, now lost, published in the 15th century. Mistakes naturally occured in the transcribing and translation of these books.
St. Germain may have been a similar link in the chain passing down his Dragon rites. We presume the Count's target audience of fellow adepts could transcribe the masonic symbols. A decoding of the cyphers was made in 1873. They decode into French, which has been translated into English. See MS1-MS12, this site for the 1776 copy, MS 210 which entered the US through New York.
Because it is so short and concise, the meaning of each part of this arcane book is left to the imagination, in terms of symbol, metaphor, and history. The literal meaning is likely to cover up at least three other layers of meaning from profane to most sacred. An initiate will glean much more from the text, perhaps, than even a Jungian with an eye for astrology, spiritual alchemy and other metaphors of transformation.
A Grand Trine in astrology is a positive configuration with a positive meaning. When three or more planets are 120 degrees from one another in three parts of the chart, they form this triangular configuration.. Usually, the planets are in the same element (Fire, Earth, Air, or Water), and the formation is described, for example, as a "Fire" or "Earth" grand trine. This pattern shows special protection and can be beneficial, although it does indicate a closed circuit of energy. It may also show areas where the person is self-sufficient.
The triangles are related to Spirit and synthesis in esoteric astrology. In mundane astrology they are believed to signify good karma earned from previous lifetimes. They give special advantages and emphasize the potential for creative self expression and spiritual self unfoldment. The potential of the Grand trine must be acted upon and used in creative self expression and efforts toward spiritual self improvement . Otherwise it will lie dormant.
Grimoires were very popular from 1600 - 1900 AD. The (unrelated) Black Dragon, Red Dragon and Black Screech Owl are all examples of grimoires or magical texts. The two best known grimoires are the Key of Solomon (Clavicula Salomoni) and the Lesser Key of Solomon (The Lemegeton).
Composed in Arabic, in Andalusia around 1000 C.E., the astrological and hermetic Picatrix is an encyclopædic work, perhaps the largest and most comprehensive of the grimoires. Brought out of the obscurity of the Middle East it passed through the hands of many prominent figures throught the history of Hermetic thought. Marsilio Ficino, Pico della Mirandola, Peter Abano & Cornelius Agrippa were among them.
Picatrix is a work of practical astral and talismanic magic. Planetary and Zodiacal magic and full instructions for invoking the related spirits are provided along with all the requisite materials needed; stones, plants, inks, colors, incenses, talismans and the invocations. In addition to this are many anecdotes relating to Arabic and pre-Islamic magical lore, including the writings of Ibn Wahshija, the Nabataeans, Sabians, Chaldeans and Assyrians. Of particular note is the magical plant and mineral lore from the Nabataean Agriculture, which portray ancient practices of pagan Iraq.
The secret society tradition came from Elizabethan mage, John Dee. He also popularized the spiritual technology of angelic and daemonic invocation and evocation, demonstrated also in Saint Germain's book. Invocations are a means of calling in or embodying archetypal energies, while evocation fosters control of negative energies. Thus, it co-creates a balance of light and dark forces.
The Masons, the Rosicrucians, the Order of the Golden Dawn, and other secret societies rely on books of ancient lore as their bonding element. After Saint Germain others had lucrative careers writing, translating, and promoting grimoires including Aleister Crowley, Francis Barret, Eliphas Levi, and L. W. de Laurence. Many translated earlier works, revised earlier works to their tastes, or created new grimoires.
The term "Grimoire" is a derivative of "grammar". Grammar describes a fixed set of symbols and the means of their incorporation to properly produce well-formed, meaningful sentences and texts. Similarly, a Grimoire describes a set of magical symbols and how best to properly combine and time dramatic ceremonial events to produce the desired effects. True grimoires contain elaborate rituals.
The DRAGON BOOK of St. Germain is akin to The Red Dragon or Grand Grimoire, with the Powerful Clavicle of Solomon and of Black Magic; or the Infernal Devices of the Great Agrippa for the Discovery of all Hidden Treasures and the Subjugation of every Denomination of Spirits, together with an Abridgment of all the Magical Arts.
The ancient secret "Wisdom Religion" recognizes the One Mystery-God of the Ineffable Name. It existed before the Zoroastrian split into the war of 'good' and 'evil.' Chaos and demons are represented as primordial dragons. The Cosmos, in its birth, spread out from the center, the constellation Draco (and Cygnus The Swan before that) as perceived in the pre-history of mankind. The "Old Dragon" was pure spirit before he became matter, passive before he became active.
Dragon energy was expressed as the Voice of the Silence, Logos, and Ophis, the Agathodaemon. Even Jesus said, "be wise as serpents, and harmless as doves." Ophis is represented as the Egyptian Cnuphis or Kneph, called Dracontiae. He appears as a serpent standing erect on its tail, with a lion's head, crowned and radiated, and bearing on the point of each ray one of the seven Greek vowels--symbol of the seven celestial spheres. This figure is quite familiar to those acquainted with the Gnostic gems.
Gnosis, Trinity & Primordial Water
The first Unity in a Trinity is borrowed from the Egyptian Hermetic books, known to Saint Germain from his hermetic studies. IAO--the Ineffable Name of the Unknown Deity--Abraxas, and the "Eternal Spiritual Sun." Unity enclosed within the Depth, Bythos, feminine principle--the boundless circle, within which lie all ideal forms.
The second Trinity is 1) Ennoia--mind; 2) Ophis, the Agathodaemon; 3) Sophia Androgyne--wisdom, in her turn--fecundated with the Divine Light. Sophia emanates the Demiurge. It is a symbolical antithesis (dual manifested nature) united in a transcendant third. Religious versions of this duality lead to interpretive doctrines, and myths of restoration or redemption.
Blavatsky contended that, "The Hindu Trinity is composed of three personages, which are convertible into one. The Trimurti is one, and in its abstraction indivisible, and yet we see a metaphysical division taking place from the first, and while Brahma, though collectively representing the three, remains behind the scenes, Vishnu is the Life-Giver, the Creator, and the Preserver, and Siva is the Destroyer, and the Death-giving deity. "Death to the Life-Giver, life to the Death-dealer. The symbolical antithesis is grand and beautiful," says Gliddon.*** "Deus est Daemon inversus" of the kabalists now becomes clear. It is but the intense and cruel desire to crush out the last vestige of the old philosophies by perverting their meaning, for fear that their own dogmas should not be rightly fathered on them, which impels the Catholic Church to carry on such a systematic persecution in regard to Gnostics, Kabalists, and even the comparatively innocent Masons."
Dragon Triangle Craft
The Dragon Book grimoire employs sigil magic, encrypted godnames, spirit or angelic names and astronomical features. Illustrations include the metasymbol dragon emblem, a wyvern, a magical circle of operations enclosing a triangle of evocation, a sigil for longevity or immortality, and a magical mirror of the heavens (As Above, So Below).
Melita Denning and Osborne Phillips describe Ceremonial Magick ritual in four basic categories:
- a) Acts directly imitative of an intended project, including the desired outcome.
- b) Acts imitative of cosmic and meteorological processes.
- a) Acts meant indirectly to induce or to avert influences by allusive or symbolic association.
- b) Mythic presentments and acts of propitiation or of worship, intended to link the rite with a specific divine force.
The Dragon Descent reads like Lord of the Rings meets the Da Vinci Code meets Zecharia Sitchin and they all run off to Scotland. In the Dragon bloodline, the metaphors become distinctly psychobiological and endocrinal.
The magic circle, dragon's eye and the labyrinth all allude to goal of Courtly Love. The "depths of the sea and the earth" refer directly to the womb, and eclipse to the union of the alchemical brother and his soror mystica -- Frater and Soror. All treasures flow forth or come from that Royal Union. It is more than a metaphor. It is ignition of the alchemy of Transcendence and a cocktail of hormones and pineal DMT, the spirit molecule. As such, it is the Holy Grail of magic, alchemy, and qabalah -- spiritual rebirth.
Magical timing is important in the enactment of sacred cycles. Upcoming annular and total eclipses in 2012 occur on May 20 and Nov 13. These with the Winter Solstice are moments of tremendous magical potential and resonant tuning. Magical timing functions like a lens to focus consciousness. Winter Solstice 2012 marks the Precessional magic moment, opening the portal of eternity for those with the secret key -- the right one at the right time, with the right aim. The arrow of Sagittarius points directly to the heart of the galactic core. When the Sun rises in heart of the Milky Way, it forms a Grand Conjunction, a Grand Eclipse.
- A total eclipse occurs when the Sun is completely obscured by the Moon. The intensely bright disk of the Sun is replaced by the dark silhouette of the Moon, and the much fainter corona is visible. During any one eclipse, totality is visible only from at most a narrow track on the surface of the Earth.
- An annular eclipse occurs when the Sun and Moon are exactly in line, but the apparent size of the Moon is smaller than that of the Sun. The Sun appears as a very bright ring, or annulus, surrounding the outline of the Moon.
This cosmic conjunction is the Alchemical Wedding. It is when we become One or resonate with the higher vibrations from the Galactic Center. Now, as we complete this great cycle, we move through the Galactic Center beyond birth and death into a higher dimensional being. A new aeon is emerging.
The symbol of the Ouroboros, the serpent that eats its own tail, refers to a serpent of light residing in the Milky Way. In Hindu myth, Vishnu is seen lying on the hundred headed serpent Ananta Sesha. Vishnu represents the center of the Milky Way out of which the consciousness of all that exists emanates. Ananta Sesha, the giant primordial serpent, is the life giving dragon who supports Vishnu on the surface of the Milky Ocean of Immortal life. Vishnu, in human form is seen dreaming as a lotus grows from his navel on which Brahma, the creator is seated. This is a metaphor for the creation of stars and planets from the center of the galaxy.
Triune Being & Altar Egos
The "mystic triangle" is the metaphysical bedrock of Rosicrucian philosophy. The Rosicrucians claim Saint Germain and that they, like him, held the secret to immortality. He was the highly revered 'Obermohr' of many mystic brotherhoods. He belongs to old Vienna swirling with Rosicrucians, Illuminates, Alchemists, Magnetopaths, Thaumaturgists, and Templars. He was a living example of the power and fullness of the path.
Many Rosicrucians -- such as Paracelsus, Cagliostro and the Count de St. Germain -- claimed to possess the secret of prolonging Life, a potential no Theosophist will deny. Theosophy also claims Saint Germain is the avatar of the emergent Age of Aquarius and the violet ray.
"Thus I have heard. When the Comte de Cagliostro, Grand Kophta of the Egyptian Rite came to Versailles, he stoppeden route" at Paris to visit the notorious Jewess Frank, daughter of the prophet of license and debauchery. Cagliostro was not disappointed. Though in her middle years by that time, her beauty had not faded, and she proved by Sign, Word, and Grip that she was, indeed, the daughter of the prophet of licentiousness. At Versailles, thus refreshed, the Count was graciously, even grandly received at court. There he encountered the Comte de Saint Germaine, who insisted that women as well as men not only should be admitted to the rite, but that the inner most secret of freemasonry necessitated that this be so. http://www.mindspring.com/~hellfire/bishop/tales.htm
Did St. Germain teach Cagliostro about his Immortality Elixir? Cagliostro reports:
On the seventeenth day of this retreat after a small emission of blood, he will start taking some white drops of secret composition. He will have to take six of them in the morning and evening, adding two a day till the thirty-second day. Another blood emission is taken on this day at sunset, the following day he stays in bed till the end of the Quarantine. Then he starts taking the first grain of Original Matter, the same that God has created in order to give man immortality. Because of sin, man has lost the knowledge of it. It can’t be conquered other than by a favor from the Eternal, and Masonic work.“
“After having taken this grain the one who is going to rejuvenate becomes unconscious for three hours and in convulsions he sweats and evacuates continuously. After having come to himself and changed bed he must be fed with a pound of fat free beef and cooling herbs. If this food makes him feel better on the following day he is given the second grain of Original Matter in a cup of broth that besides the effect of the first grain will cause him a very strong delirious fever .He will lose the skin, and the teeth and hair will fall out. On the following thirty-fifth day if the patient recovers his strength, he will soak in a bath for one hour in neither cold or hot water. On the thirty-sixth day he will have his third and last grain of Original Matter in a glass of vintage and generous wine that will make him sleep quietly and peacefully. Then the hair grows back, the teeth too and the skin gets healed. When he wakes up he soaks in new aromatic bath and on the thirty-eighth day he will have a bath in plain water mixed with niter .Later on he gets dressed and starts walking in his room, then on the thirty-ninth day, he takes ten drops of Balsam of the Great Master along with two spoons of red wine. On the fortieth day he will leave the house, rejuvenated and perfectly recharged”.
This odd-sounding rite is consistent with St. Germain's practice as are other examples of the hermetic school developed by Cagliostro. The hermetic society known as “Neapolitan School” has valid claim as the oldest Alchemical Transmutation School in the West. In the reign of Emperor Augustus a small Egyptian-Jewish colony settled in Naples (in Piazza Nilo). For over two thousand years they kept their tradition of oral transmission of transmutation techniques alive.
Cagliostro's school had three teaching levels. In the first level, theoretically, one could learn the fundamentals of Hermetism: the analog science, symbolism. The Neapolitan School was far more detailed than other hermetic schools. They also cultivated the “art of memory”.
In the second level one could start the real transmutation work and according to a superb technique of ancient origin characterized by a special kind of sexual magic called “osiridean”. Smell a dragon?By the hellenic era, Greek awareness of Osiris had grown, and attempts had been made to merge Greek philosophy, such as Platonism, and the cult of Osiris (especially the myth of his resurrection), resulting in a mystery religion. Gradually, this became more popular, and was exported to other parts of the Greek sphere of influence. However, these mystery religions valued the change in wisdom, personality, and knowledge of fundamental truth, rather than the exact details of the acknowledged myths on which their teachings were superimposed.
In the third level, the transmutation student could use two techniques of individual mastering for the purpose of giving him superior mental powers and starting the regeneration of the physical body. The process of immortalization of the soul is the goal of theurgy -- self-identification with deity.
According to the Chaldeans, the soul, in its descent to the body gathers impure substances. Through theurgistic rites, the soul can re-ascend, encounter the Divine and be purified of these impure substances and attain immortality. Thevoces magicae invoke the assistant spirits that will help the soul to ascend. However, even though immortalization is the goal, self-identification with deity is not declared and only the soul can attain such a state.
To continue, the Arcana of the illuminati consist of three degrees or ritual cycles of mastery plus a “High Arcane” (Secretum Secretorum). Their calendar runs according to the lunar cycle, and the 9 days of ritual fasting, during which one must follow complete chastity). The osiridean transmutation work is performed in pairs: by a woman and a man. Only the fruit of the Tree of Life grants immortality.
The first degree performed by a man consists in a self–assimilation of his sperm, obtained by a self-sexual magic; the short cycle which is more used, covers forty operations, one every 9 days, during one year activity . As for the woman, the sperm is replaced by a microscopic sample of menstrual blood.
After the end of the year a third ingredient (differently diversified) is added to the sperm and blood and the compound is drunk over a cyclic period of fasting and light meals still insisting on these numbers: 9, 6, 3 and 1.
In the second degree these operations are repeated (with light variations), by combining all the three ingredients together.
The third degree is based on couple sexual practice where the philosophical amalgam (the three elements together) is “cooked” through the three passages called “Black Mercury”, ”White Mercury” and “Red Mercury” (three different sexual practices performed in pairs: one of sodomy, one without sperm emission and one during menstruation). A new philosophical amalgam will be obtained. Once it is swallowed it should cause the sprouting of the energetic body (called “Body of glory” according to the School terminology).
Sex and the Siddhi
The ancient Siddhi, or Seers are of royal Scythian blood. Their Elven magic is the root of all other imitative rites that seek to emulate Dragon Consciousness. "The name Sithian is related to a group of words that appear in Indo-European languages which are found as far apart as Eire and Northern India, indicating that they had a common Aryan origin in Scythia. These include - Sithia, Sidhe, Siddir and Siddhi."
"The curious Irish word - Sidhe - pronounced ’shee’, ’sheeth’ or ’sheeth-ay’, attributed to the fairies and meaning ’powers’, is therefore identical to Siddir (sheeth-eer) and Siddhi (sheeth-ee) and is derived therefore, from the people of the powers - the Scythians or Sidheans (sheethee-ans). In Scotland the royal fairies were called the Seelie or Sheelie. . .goddesses of sovereignty and transcendence. . .Along with the Irish Sidhe, the Seelie and the Seelie Court of Scotland had a distinctly royal origin in the Tuadha d’Anu who when asked, like their Pictish descendants in Scotland, said of themselves that they were Scythian."
Prince Nicholas de Vere argues that in the true Dragon bloodline, that no such penetrative rituals occur. He contends the true Dragon elixir is the combined virginal menstrum and secretions of the Graffenberg gland of the Grail Maidens, upon which the Dragon line feeds.
Ingested sublingually, this non-adrenergic substance is rich in neurotransmitters, including melatonin, oxytocin, and estrogenic hormones of youth and love. Its transcendent effect is highly addictive and therefore such magic is reserved for bloodline members. The occult arcana, de Vere claims, are lower rites imitating the original practice of the Druidic/Vampiric/Elven line, he characterizes as a separate species.
In the Naples school, the final level or Major Arcane, is based on five retreats performed in darkness, each lasting seven days, with a decreasing number of sexual performances (9, 6, 3, 1 and then none, replaced by breathing exercises) where one comes back to the assimilation of one element only (sperm or blood) plus a third ingredient; the absence of light encourages the development of the body of glory and its strengthening.
Today, some aspirants practice Dark Room Retreats to stimulate endogenous pineal DMT production [see "Pineal DMT" this site]. Isolated from external light, the third eye (pineal gland) overflows with certain neurotransmitters that awaken the higher brain, the ability to imprint the brain, reprogramming itself for an “instant experience of Being.” The retreat reopens the source code of embryogenesis.
Only after having finished this work could the illuminati transmutation student, from The School of Naples, face the advanced rituals of the third level, which Cagliostro has handed on through Egyptian Freemasonry.
When the level of Master is achieved, an opportunity is offered to the Egyptian Brother or the Sister to engage in the famous “Quarantine”, two operations of transmutation, lasting 40 days each. In Egypt it took 40 days to desicate and embalm a mummy to prepare it for the next world before it is washed, oiled wrapped and resined. This is also consistent with modern Dark Room Retreat practices and those from Tibetan Buddhism.
The first Quarantine: "How to achieve the Pentagon and become morally perfect" has to be practiced by thirteen Masters together. Strongly hybridized with magic-cabalistic elements, occasionally reminiscent of the Sacred Magic of Abramelin, had the purpose of sharpening the subtle faculties of the Master’s body of glory to give him the capacity to correctly explain the enigmatic instructions of the second Quarantine: “How to rejuvenate and become physically perfect”.
Repeating the Cagliostro excerpt above, the following text is an unabridged version, written by the adept himself, as handed down from the many Egyptian Lodges still existing today (especially in southern France with illuminati Brothers like Jean Pierre Giudicelli also a member of the Monte Carlo Lodge) :
“The Aspirant has to retreat with a friend in the countryside on a full moon night and locked inside a room he has to suffer from a very exhausting diet for forty days time. The diet consists of scarce food based on light soups and tender cooling laxative vegetables, distilled water beverages or May rain. Each meal must to start with a liquid, a drink and end with a solid snack as a biscuit or bread crust.
Meditation is an alpha brain wave entrainment technique, which synchronizes the two brain hemispheres into 8 Hz. Closing the eyes, stops Melatonin flow leakage to the body, and makes it saturate the neocortex, increasing concentrations of Meltaonin and Pinoline in both brain and body. Meditation, several times a day, is an essential health exercise, an energizer, and tool for mental integration of daily activities.
Pinoline and related beta carbolines are not only produced in the brain, but in the adrenal glands themselves, where these hormones undergo their transformation to the hormones of life. HeartMath Institute demonstrated that minutes of compassion in the cardio-rhythm, which induces 8 Hz in the brain, brought DHEA up to youthful levels.
Twenty minutes of compassionate love, through meditative breathing, and whole body 8 Hz entrainment is the ultimate hormone precursor anti-aging pill. Not only does the pineal gland produce more Melatonin and Pinoline, which instigate 8 Hz ELF waves throughout the body, but these neurohormones signal the pituitary to release the life hormone Somatropin, which signals the adrenal glands to instigate cholesterol to convert to Pregnelenone then DHEA.
The extra Pinoline and other beta carboline levels that result, aid the body cells to replicate, and neutralize microorganisms, parasites, fungoids, and bacterias, and related harmful invaders. Melatonin and Pinoline are also antioxidents. Meditation is a rest break, an exercise session, an integration session, an energizer, and a body tuner, promoting antioxidant and antidepressant production.
We can return intentionally to more youthful states by doing emotional exercises and visualizations, which stimulate the body chemistry of our glory days. The body remembers and mimics those chemical states, producing youthful hormones and more flexible mental and physical states, improving overall balance and disposition. When “Youthenizing” yourself, it is helpful to use a photo from under age 7, a time you felt at your peak, or your happiest, or other 'good chemistry' times.
Absolute darkness has an initiatory quality – the metaphor of moving from the darkness of ignorance into the illuminative Light. But it is more than a metaphor. All wisdom traditions have used sensory deprivation and darkness, (such as caves, tunnels, catacombs or special chambers), as a shamanic mind-altering force. Disorientation outside facilitates internal focus and connection. Dark Room (DR) technology is for core reprogramming, restimulating the hardened pineal which begins calcifying around age 12. Sound becomes light. Chanting and drumming amplify the effects, which culminate in a rebirth of the spirit when one enters the point of Light or primordial Luminosity. Author, Robert Newman, (Calm Healing, 2006) advocates Medicine Light for a variety of conditions.
He cites Tibetan Buddhist, Trungpa Rinpoche about a highly advanced, dangerous forms of meditation practiced in utter darkness, known as a Bardo Retreat. They last up to seven weeks in a specially prepared Darkness Chamber, during which the whole Tibetan Book of The Dead becomes experiential and visions arise innately from the brain. The beneficent and wrathful “eyes of Buddha” become visually and interactively alive as the Bardo of Luminosity flashes on and off; visions are self-arising; and transcend ordinary perception. The 49-day cycle recapitulates embryogenesis up to the point when pineal and gender differentiation occurs. The Taoists, Egyptians, Druids and others had similar practices of external light isolation. The pineal contains high levels of the enzymes and building blocks for making DMT, and it may be secreted when inhibitory processes cease blocking its production. It may even produce other chemicals, such as beta-carbolines that magnify and prolong its effects.
Blinded by the Light
Illumination has been described in Hermetics and Theosophy as being blinded by the manifestation of God’s presence, which has no relation to visible light. Visionary experience, which has symbolic or religious content, gives way to this dazzling light, which is reported in eastern and western religions. Awareness becomes content free in the clear light of the Void. Form yields to formlessness.
Kabbalalists speak of this light during ecstatic entry into Pardes, the "orchard" of the Garden of Pomegranates, the self-luminous spheres of the Tree of Life. This metaphysical experience of the "Light of the Shekinah," the feminine aspect of the Divine, is associated with qabalistic ascent up the Middle Pillar. In this state the soul remains covered or adorned, and one cleaves to the Light, gazing at the awesome radiance of God (Tzvi ha Shekinah) in rapt mystic Union.
According to Kabbalist Idel, the grace of "sweet radiance" has erotic overtones. It also implies mystical death, separated from all concerns with the mundane world. The Divine Light attracts the light of the soul, "which is weak in relation to the Divine Light." The metaphor is one of magnetic attraction. The Kabbalists tried to reach the pre-fall state of the Primordial Man, to reenter the radiance of the Shekinah, a mystically erotic relationship with the Divine Presence which creates a reflective “glow.”
Entrance of the philosopher or mystic into the Pardes affects only the human soul. But in the Theosophical paradigm it does have affects on the non-human realms, the system of divine powers, influencing the relationships between them. In the Theurgic paradigm there is also an influence on, or struggle with, the demonic realm, which seeks to hold the soul back from union.
In both cases, Pardes represents a danger zone, leading potentially to insanity or death, being overwhelming for most mortals. Premature entry to this realm has been likened to tearing a silk scarf from a rosebush, rather than gently removing it slowly (with regular meditation). It sounds like the wrathful visions of Buddhism and the intensely raw effects of unmediated DMT.
The perfection of the Self is the Great Work. Manly Palmer Hall claimed with each increase in our ability to appreciate the magnitude of the divine plan, we are reborn. "Rebirth is the passing out from an old condition into a new state, from an old limitation to a new extension. As we grow in knowledge, our universe enlarges.
A student of St. Germain, Cagliostro introduced a triangular altar, the Shekinah, in the center of the Rosicrucian Temple, modeling it after the altar described by Count Saint Germain in his work The Holy Trinosophia, Book of the Three-fold Wisdom. The altar is the place of transformation.
Saint Germain called nature, "a triangular arrangement of four elements," multiplied by three to yield the Zodiac of the heavens. St. Germain identifies himself with the substance from which the Stone is generated. The elements pass through 12 stages of augmentation in the preparation of the [vortex] Stone.
The altar is the three-fold cause of the material sphere. The altar is the burning Athanor, the self-feeding, digesting furnace of the alchemists, mirroring immortality seen in the four quarters of heaven. "The altar is the human body. Its material parts -- the square -- are arranged in the spiritual order -- a triangle."
Salt, sulphur and Mercury are placed on the altar in a triangle, symbolizing equilibrated body, spirit and soul, which gives birth to the homunculi or Crystal Body. "This [universal] man is an immortally generating ego capable of precipitating personalities at will, yet itself unchanged and unlimited by them." The body lives in the soul - esse in anima.
In the air above the altar is the Crux Ansanta, the Ankh in copper, symbolizing the Venusian star of self-knowledge and the reproductive energy of the soul. As outer bodies generate progeny, inner bodies generate the archetypes of personalities. The gestalt is a figure of spiritual generation. Perpetual regeneration is generated by the use of the Philosopher's Stone and the secret subtle Elixir.
The Count of Saint Germain had a very precise knowledge of the Rosicrucian wisdom and symbolism expressed in the Degrees of study within the Chambers of Instruction. As a Rosicrucian Initiate of high degree, Cagliostro was particularly active in developing what Saint Germain had taught. By means of certain symbols, further enriched later by other Adepts, he put the teachings into practice, making the Rosicrucian technique more effective and better adapted to the times. Such a descended master is a draku.
The Dragon guards the "treasure" and a royal bloodline from which St. Germain claimed descent through his reputed father, Ferenc of Rákóczi, Prince of Transylvania. He was kidnapped in his youth. A symbolic dragon of the bloodline, Comte St.Germain, first son of Ferenc Rákóczi was kidnapped by the Habsburg clan in punishment of Prince Rákótzi's activism against the Habsburgs. He was adopted out to the French Come Family because of the Habsburg's demand.
Saint Germain spent the end of his life in the estate now known as Schleswig-Holstein. The “path to enlightenment" starts from the Nordic House [Nordische Haus] in front of the lake, which, they say, resembles an eye, and hence was dubbed the “magic eye” [magische Auge]. This magic eye reflects the sky (Hermetic symbolism: as above, so below) and the lake overflows into a waterfall which at one point was regulated by a ram (bringer of spring), suggesting more Egyptian influence. The “magic eye” of the lake, they further speculate, might also allude to Horus.
Much like the Dragon Draco is the apparent center of the universe, around which all revolves, so too on Earth, the Dragon lineage is the archetypal core of humanity, the Elven species. The Dragon legacy is immortal precisely because when they do their rites, the heirs of this bloodline invoke the spirits of their ancestors and embody this Wisdom Body.
Thus, everyone in the lineage is magically kept alive in memory and imagination and plausibly in the etheric or the information-carrying realm of virtual photonic energy, which is formless and eternal in nature. In this manner, they are pereptually regenerating their intergenerational Light Bodies.
The Dragon Bloodline has been preserved in the Merovingian, Carolingian, Tudor, Plantagenet, Stuart, Hapsburg, Hanoverian, Saxe-Coburg-Gotha, Guelph, Bowes-Lyon, Battenberg (Mountbatten), Guise, and Savoy families, as well as others. The Merovingians may have derived their title from the word for the sea, or from Mer meaning "pyramid" and also "high ones." The powerful Plantagenet kings of England were a part of the Angevin dynasty of France, and were also known as the House of Anjou. They were, like the Bourbons and House of Orleans, a branch of the Capetian dynasty of Europe. The word capet means the "Big Heads" or "Chiefs."
There are many books about the hermetic school of Tuthmosis III of Egypt, who reigned about 1450 BC. But it is not generally known that the school he originally inherited was the Royal Court of the Dragon. This had been founded by the priests of Mendes in about 2200 BC and was subsequently ratified by the 12th dynasty Queen Sobeknefru. (Gardner)
This sovereign and priestly Order passed from Egypt to the Kings of Jerusalem; to the Black Sea Princes of Scythia and into the Balkans - notably to the Royal House of Hungary, whose King Sigismund reconstituted the Court just 600 years ago. Today it exists as the Imperial and Royal Court of the Dragon Sovereignty, which at 4,000+ years is the oldest sovereign Court in the world.
Today, according to its mage Prince Nicholas de Vere, the Imperial and Royal Dragon Court is a closed fraternity, a collective of individuals, comprising those who, unlike Sigismund, can trace their ancestry and affiliations back to the ancient, pre-Christian Elven, Grail, Vampyre, Druid and Dragon families via Anjou. Their rituals wouldn’t work neurochemically on anyone without their bloodline. The 'Shining Ones' rituals produced charge radiant bliss. The real lineage ran through the Dragon Queens - Gene Isis.
The Court retains the traditional three-tier degree system that Sigismund revived. He added three separate representations of the alchemical Ouroboros emblem for the distinct ranks of the Court, harking back to earlier dragon rings. A fourth emblem shaped like an Egyptian Ankh or Albigensian Cross was used by the family officers of the Inner Temple.
Scotland has a strong tradition of hermetic alchemy. In 1317 the King of Scots was installed as the heriditary Grand Master, and from that time, whichever descending King held the office, he was to be known simply as 'Saint Germain'. A new Order was then formed, called the elder Brothers of the Order of the Rosy Cross (The Forgotten Monarchy of Scotland by HRH Prince Michael of Albany of the Royal House of Stewart, who was elected President of the Royal Society of European Princes in 1992....Element Books Limited, 1998)Echoing the opening lines of the TRIANGLE BOOK, this Dragon lineage traces itself to Egypt and is also preserved in Asia, by the Scythians and Mesopotamians and lines even further east. Coming from Hungary and/or Transylvania, St. Germain, being of noble blood himself, could not be unaware of this symbolic Dragon lineage.
Ferenc of Rákóczi, Prince of Transylvania, is Saint Germain’s reputed father. He was Head of the First Hungarian Liberation Battle for the re-establishment of Hungarian Kingdom Authority. In the fight for independence against the Habsburg Conquest all Hungarian people engaged in a spiritual struggle extending across centuries.
The first Habsburg King acquired the Hungarian throne by a deal unacceptable to the people. Hungarian elites ridiculed the Habsburg Clan and encouraged the Hungarian Royal State Formation. Independence of the Habsburg Clan, and the reestablishment of the Hungarian State Authority in her territory is the crucial movement cult of the Hungarian nation.
Joseph Rákóczi was the second son of Prince Ferenc Rákóczi and Amalie Princesse of Hessen, born in the French emigration of her father. The Conceptor and Head of the 2nd Hungarian Liberation's Battle against the Habsburg Empire was excommunicated by the Pope for this mission. In 1784, the Bavarian Illuminati, presumably including St. Germain in the shadows, attempted to overthrow the Hapsburgs. Comte de Saint Germain was also a rumored paid agent of the French Revolution. In other words – he was a spy for the Dragon Dynasty wherever he went.
Dragonsblood is said to be medicinal. A wyvern is a mythical beast, a winged dragon with two eagle-like feet and a barbed, serpentine tail. In folklore, a dragon is a serpentine creature. The Latin word draco, as in constellation Draco, comes directly from Greek δράκων, (drákan, gazer). Words for dragon iinclude worm, Old English: wyrm, Old High German: wurm, Old Norse: ormr), meaning snake or serpent.
In Old English wyrm means "serpent", draca means "dragon". Finnish lohikäärme means directly "salmon-snake", but the word lohi- was originally louhi- meaning crags or rocks, a "mountain snake". Though a winged creature, the dragon is generally found in its underground lair, a cave that identifies it as an ancient creature of earth. Likely, the dragons of European and Mid Eastern mythology stem from the cult of snakes found in religions throughout the world.
Delta of Venus
The most noticeable thing about St. Germain's secret DRAGON BOOK is its highly unusual shape - a downward-pointing equilateral triangle of 9 inches to each side. But flipping through the pages of the Dragon Book we see alternating upward and downward pointing triangles, such as those of the Qabalistic Tree of Life - a glyph of the process of transmutation into form and a path of return to the formless Divine.
An upward-pointing triangle is a symbol of the exoteric, and the downward-triangle of the esoteric, the portal between worlds. This is both the elemental symbol of water and the downward-pointing delta of the yoni, or sacred feminine, Sophia, Gnosis, Shakti, Shekinah, Babalon, Nuit, the Grail, the matrix of manifestation. As such, it is the primordial source of the waters of life and a great Mystery. That mystery includes energetic manifestation, longevity, all the buried treasures of the Collective Unconscious, even immortality.
The Delta or triangle, female-genital sign, the letter known as a vulva, in Celtic – duir, in Sanskrit dwr, and in Hebrewdalath. In Qabalah it is the Soul Triangle (2-3-6). The Tree of Life is a nested embedded cluster of upward and downward pointing triangles. The upward-pointing triangle represents the aspiration of the magician, and the downward-pointing triangle represents the divine power, flowing down to the world. These meet at the moment of magick and the interlaced triangles forming the hexagram symbolize the power of this meeting.
The soul itself is a point having no dimension in the world of the spirit, symbolized by the triangle. The Hebrew letter 'yod' at the center of the triangle represents the divine name or "God point", also called by some the "nothing point" of transcendent awareness. The upside down triangle is called the Dragon's Eye and is related to all other Eye symbols -- the eye of Ra/Horus, the Illuminati Eye in the Triangle, Third Eye, pineal gland, the evil eye.
All the mystic teachings incorporate the power of three within their folds. Three represents the union of the numbers prior to it (One and Two). Numerically speaking, if One represents force, and Two represents an opening, then Three is the birthing of true wisdom.
Solomon's Temple was designed as a microcosm of the womb. It was divided into three parts. The Porch represents the lower end of the vagina up to the hymen, or Veil. The Hall, or vagina itself leads to the inner sanctum, or Holy of Holies, the uterus. The priest, dressed as a penis, anointed with various saps and resins as representing the divine semen, enters through the doors of the Porch, the "labia" of the womb, past the Veil or "hymen" into the Hall.
The Yoni is both magic circle and triangle. The magic circle is a portal for scalar potential which feeds the energy body with negentropic flux, virtual Light. In magick, the Triangle of Art is consecrated for purposes of evocation - drawing forth. Sometimes the triangle is depicted in Hermetic diagrams radiating this esoteric light.
In the mid 1800's, the existence of scalar energy was first proposed in a series of 4 groundbreaking equations by the Scottish mathematician, James Clerk Maxwell, in which H refers to the magnetic field, E refers to the energy field. Most of the other symbols are Greek letters such as epsilon and delta. The upside down triangle represents the Vector Differential.
But, the key to these equations – what makes them remarkable in history is the use of symbol, which stands for Scalar Charge Density. This equation was the first time the existence of scalar energy was theoretically proposed. A half-century later Nicola Tesla actually demonstrated the existence of scalar energy, know called virtual vacuum fluctuation or virtual photons. This is the biophotonic basis of the human energy body and a vast cosmic energetic potential called ZERO-Point energy. Buckminster Fuller called it the Vector Equilibrium Matrix.
The most prominent feature of the title page of the DRAGON BOOK is a winged Dragon or Wyvern emblem. Wyvern is derived from Middle English wyvere, from Old North French wivre "viper". The triangular shape hints strongly at a 3-fold reading: Hermetic, Qabalistic & Alchemical. All deal with our primordial nature as energetic light beings capable of transformation and energetic communion with Cosmos.
Such a reading suggests alphanumeric cyphers hidden within the encoded text, even once it is decoded and translated from the Latin and French. For example, a variety of ciphers were known to St. Germain, including Gematria, Atbash, Triangle, Circular, Enochian, substitution ciphers, etc. A triangular cipher would be a natural suspect for pulling more from the graphic text. Perhaps future cryptologists will apply some of these arcane techniques.
Delta Brainwave Rejuvination
Delta represent the deepest of meditative brainwave states. In Delta (1-4 hz) deep regeneration and recalibration takes place. The delta state rejuvenates your mind, body, and spirit. Delta range of deep dreamless sleep also triggers the release of anti-aging Human Growth Hormone so beneficial for renewing energy, healing and regeneration.Scientifically proven benefits of the delta brainwaves include:
1. Speeding up regeneration of new cells and hormone production
2. White blood cells multiply greatly killing invading germs and bacteria
3. Restore unbalanced sodium and potassium in the body which causes fatigue
4. Keep blood circulation flowing freely.
4.0 hz - Enkephalins, Extrasensory perception; Astral Projection, Telepathy, "Seduction mindset"; Catecholamines, vital for memory & learning, respond at around 4 HZ.; Subconscious Problem Solving/Full Memory Scanning (if one can manage to stay awake); Associated with object naming, an important aspect of memory; "Those who suffer from Chronic Fatigue exhaust very easily. When moved to 4HZ these individuals showed marked improvement in the length of time between the occurrence of exhaustion after certain exercises were completed."

Increases the levels of DHEA (anti-aging) & melantonin (decreases aging process.); Associated with unconscious mind & sleep state - in conjunction with other frequencies in a waking state, "Delta acts as a form of radar – seeking out information – reaching out to understand on the deepest unconscious level things that we can't understand through thought process." Provides intuition, empathetic attunement & instinctual insight; Conducive to miracle type healing, divine knowledge, inner being & personal growth, rebirth, trauma recovery, "one with the universe" experiences (samadhi), near death experience, characterized by "unknowing", merely a blissful "being" state such as deep sleep or coma. 1-3 - Delta: deep, dreamless sleep, trance state, non-REM sleep; profound relaxation, restorative sleep, feelings of tranquility&peace, if one can remain aware.
Dissolve Yourself & Solve the Riddle
The male outward, explosive, active force is represented by the Alpha upward triangle and the female inward, implosive, creative force is symbolized by the Omega downward triangle. The combined gender of direction of force is symbolized by the six pointed hexagram or Star of David. For the triangle to unite into the hexagram they have to be interlocked with each other.
We know the descending mystical triangle of Saint Germain's Dragon Book is a symbol of water, as in the alchemical maxim, Solve et Coagula. Water is the Universal Solvent of alchemy, the beginning and end of the work. We also know water has unique physical and metaphysical properties. Its molecular structure can be affected by human intentionality. Thoughts and words affect water. Liquid water is the cosmic source of all life. Some body fluids exemplify this property more than others. Since we are largely water ourselves it is a primordial element affecting our well-being and longevity.
The liquid form of the Philosopher's Stone was known as the UNIVERSAL SOLVENT. According to the alchemists, the operation of solutio (liquification) has a twofold effect: it causes old forms to disappear and new regenerate forms to emerge. To a rigid consciousness, the primal ocean of the unconscious is experienced as chaotic, violent, irrational processes of generation and destruction.Grinnell (1973) describes the transformative process of solutio which facilitates the fluid, mobile basis of consciousness: For aqua permanens is a mode of the arcane substance; its symbol is water or sea-water, an all-pervading essence of anima mundi, the innermost and secret numinosum in man and the universe, that part of God which formed the quintessence and real substance of Physis, at once the highest supercelestial waters of wisdom and the spirit of life pervading inorganic matter.Alchemy had one great prescription for the accomplishment of the Great Work: "Solve et Coagula"--reduce or dissolve all to its primary, most fundamental essence and embody that creative, holistic spirit. The ancient alchemists sought to transform "lead" into "gold." We repeat this process as modern alchemists when we seek the transformative medium which allows us to recognize our rigidities ("lead") and facilitates our healing and expression of our full creative potential ("gold"). That medium is the ever-flowing river of our consciousness. As consciousness explores and expands, ego dissolves. Pure consciousness, the fundamental luminosity, is the ground state of unborn form. The generic purpose of ego death is to liberate our embodied being, precipitating communion with and re-patterning by the Whole. When all forms finally dissolve into unconditioned consciousness, the ground state of primordial awareness is revealed as the mystic Void, the womb of creation. The Universal Solvent dissolves problems, heals, allows life to flow in new, creative patterns. These new patterns embody the evolutionary dynamic. According to chaos theory, free-flowing energy is capable of self-organization. In consciousness this means that the obstructions to free flowing energy must first be dissolved. Through re-creational ego death, consciousness dissolves into healing communion with the whole of existence, renewing itself, emerging with a new creative potential.
There is a generic process in nature and consciousness which dissolves and regenerates all forms. The essence of this transformative, morphological process is chaotic--purposeful yet inherently unpredictable holistic repatterning. The Great Work of the art of alchemy is the creation of the Philosopher's Stone, a symbol of wholeness and integration. The liquid form of the Stone, called the Universal Solvent, dissolves all old forms like a rushing stream, and is the self-organizing matrix for the rebirth of new forms. It is thus a metaphor or model for the dynamic process of transformation, ego death and re-creation. The alchemical operation SOLUTIO, called "the root of alchemy," corresponds with the element water. It implies a flowing state of consciousness, "liquification" of consciousness, a return to the womb for rebirth, a baptism or healing immersion in the vast ocean of deep consciousness. It facilitates feedback via creative regression: de-structuring, or destratification by immersion in the flow of psychic imagery through identification with more and more primal forms or patterns--a psychedelic, expanded state, a chaotic process of psychological transformation and recalibration.Heavenly Water
The Milky Way is the water of heaven, the spiral circle of the cosmos whose secret is revealed in the Great Cycle of the Precession, the Zero-Point of Solar/Galactic Alignment. The Dragon solution is in the blood, in actualizing the powers inherent in dragon nature, being fearless to be superhuman, for the sake of all life. The Water of Life has unique meaning in the pre-Diluvian Dragon lineage.
The Dragon is an Ultraterrestrial -- a symbol of wisdom and healing. There is primordial wisdom in the inherent nature of the deathless light body, with powers extended through the consort -- titanic blazing being intentionally working with great forces and vast fields. The Dragon is the ancient ancestor who contains all widom and potential, symbol of mastery and sovereignty used by royalty and initiates.
Spirit reabsorbs all the light it projected as objective universe, reawakening the Dragon energy. The grand frequency contains quintessence of all dimensions and knowledge. The primary ground of being contains all patterns and potentials. The Grail Quest and alchemical Great Work are also called "Opening the Eye of the Dragon." Gnosis lies at the heart of Dragon culture, which holds we should be at one with the Earth not presume dominion over it.
Pre-diluvian theology was based on the observance and veneration of the stars, of the sun, the moon, and the zodiac. From its inception it was a stellar religion, an astro-theological gnosis - centered on the celestial pole of Draco.
The first written story linking dragons to deluge is Mesopotamian. But pre-history saw many catastrophes and floods. An extraterrestrial impact, possibly a comet, set off a 1,000-year-long cold spell and wiped out or fragmented the prehistoric Clovis culture and a variety of animals across North America almost 13,000 years ago.
The Clovis impact would have been felt in Europe and around the world. Reversal in the world's ocean currents and associated rapid global cooling caused the extinction of megafauna and the end of the Clovis Period. While generally accepted theory says glacial melting from the North American interior caused the shift in currents, the new proposal points to a large extraterrestrial object exploding above or even into the Laurentide ice sheet north of the Great Lakes.Immediate effects would have been to the north and east (of the impact site), producing shockwaves, heat, flooding, wildfires, and a reduction and fragmentation of the human population.
A Black Sea deluge is dated from 5900 BC to 9500 years ago. Catal Huyuk flourished in 7000 BC. Widespread farming commenced around 4000 BC. Sumeria is dated as early as 5400 BC. with small towns and encampments back to 8000 BC. The Dragon culture travelled and spread cultural ideas. Various groups spread throughout Europe from 6000 to 8000 BC. The glacial-melt flood sent the proto-Scythian and proto-European population migrating.
The suddeness and magnitude of this event, set off by glacial melt, is debated, but the results are not contested. All pre-flood coastal settlements were inundated. Some call it Noah's Flood, but that is more likely associated with the abyssal impact of a comet whose remains are seen in the Indian Ocean in Burckle Crater. This event coincides with theEnuma Elish and Epic of Gilgamesh.
The Enuma Elish, a Mesopotamian creation myth from around 1900 BCE, relates how the primordial waters of Tiamat, ‘she who bore them all,’ and Apsu, ‘their begetter . . . commingle as a single body,’ and thus become the sole matrix from which everything emerges. The verse accompanying the figure heightens the correspondence between the alchemical fountain and the hierogamy that produced all life: ‘We (waters) are the metal’s first nature and only source; the highest tincture of the Art is made through us.’
For uncounted Aeons, mankind witnessed the nightly drama of the heavenly bodies -- the fixed and wandering stars watched back. They rightly held it in awe, as periodically great catastrophes descended to Earth from the heavens. Eventually, an order was deduced from these nightly wanderings. Man sought to magically reflect this heavenly order on Earth and perhaps hold catastrophe at bay. The archetypal Pole of Light was the focus of this spiritually significant primordial observation. The Ouroborous serpent that bites its tail is the Milky Way.
The power behind the veil is the circumpolar Void, sometimes inhabited by a star, sometimes not. We now know the true center of our galaxy is a massive black hole, through which the galaxy consumes itself. Draconian magic is thus a Path into the Abyss to awaken the potential of life force -- initiation to awaken the gnostic seership of pineal vision and latent healing serpent power. It is also a royal bloodline, unbroken from pre-Diluvian times to today. In the beginning of the world, Winged Serpents reigned upon the Earth. These were the demigods which predate the historical civilization of every nation.
The first dragon story on record is found in the Babylonian creation epic, Enuma Elish. First called Labbu by the Sumerians in 3000 BC, this dragon came to be known as Tiamat when that civilization gave way to the Babylonians and their mythologies blended. Broken down, Tiamat’s name means “life-mother,” and this she-dragon was indeed the creator of all. Part animal, part serpent, and part bird, Tiamat, the spirit of chaos. Myths of the gods recount celestial events, including the breakup of a massive comet Encke into many fragments, just like Shoemaker-Levi which hit Jupiter.
Geo-climatologists found a huge climatic change around 3117 BC, called the Piora oscillation. This abrupt change in the climate was probably caused by a massive meteorite swarm (”seven heads and ten horns“), possibly from the break-up of a great comet Encke (”the Red Dragon“) in the inner parts of the Solar system.
Archaeologists have confirmed the presence of a widespread layer of riverine silt deposits, shortly after the Piora Oscillation interrupting the sequence of settlement, that left a few feet of yellow sediment in the cities of Shuruppak and Uruk and extended as far north as Kish.
The recent detected undersea Burckle Crater,1500 kilometers Southeast of Madagascar could be the abyssal Impact crater of one of the parts of the Typhon. The Comet that crashed into the Sea caused massive rainstorms, Darkness and a huge tsunami with waves more than 200 meters high.
“The whole earth seethed, and sky and sea: and the long waves raged along the beaches round and about, at the rush of the deathless gods: and there arose an endless shaking.” (Hesiod, Theogeny).
At that time the Earth was also at the end of a 1500 year climate cyclecaused by the Wobble of the Axis of the Earth. This cycle generates Earthquakes, rising of the sea level and a Sudden Change of the Climate. At that time the Earth was highly vulnerable. The huge impact of Comet Typhon triggered Earthquake-Storms all over the World.
Before the Flood things were very different. The Immortal Gods and the Humans lived for four thousand years between 7.000 BC and 3.000 BC in the Paradise of the Green Sahara The nice climate in the Sahara made it possible that fruits, plants and animals were so plentiful that there was no need to strive.
After 3117 BC the Green Sahara suddenly transformed into a Desert because the weather patterns on Earth changed completely. The survivors of the wandering communities of the hunter/gatherers had to move to more fertile places on Earth. They settled down at the oases in the desert and/or started to attack the groups that were able to live on fertile grounds. The peaceful time of the Green Sahara, paradise, was suddenly disrupted.
About 3000 BC, a shift of power took place in the Near East, as the result of the immigration of large numbers of Semitic & Aryan tribes into the area. Out of the Green Sahara, Semitic tribes pushed, in several waves, into the area of the Fertile Crescent. These tribes were known by the Mesopotamians as Amurru (meaning “Westerners“).
After the Flood the Shaman of the Hunter/Gatherers were replaced by the priests of the ruling class, the Pharaohs. The priests of Nimrod blocked the connection with the Infinite Potential, created artificial scarcity, introduced the concept of Sin, started to divide and rule and transformed the Story of Maya, the Material World, into a Spiritual Story.
AS ABOVE, SO BELOW: The Fractal Field of Resonating Potential
The narrative of the Sky had to be a “rotating” cyclic narrative because the sky was in constant cyclic motion. Ancient tradition states that heavenly locations had earthly counterparts ("As Above, So Below"). The next step was to project this Narrative on the Sky using highly visible stars as a connection point. In the last step the Sky was projected unto Earth again.
Megaliths (”giant standing stones“, “menhirs“) and related constructions such as cairns and dolmens (chambers of stone), tumuli and barrows (ancient earthworks) and henges and circles were built by ancient man for purposes of Astronomy and Geodetics. Anyone having knowledge of the heavenly stars could thus find his way around on Earth by means of the megaliths, which served both as boundaries and landmarks.
When we measure the Earth in Egypt the number 26,400 miles appears which is the number of Years the Precession of the Equinox takes. A mile in distance upon the earth equals one year of precession, and one degree of distance on the earth, a 360th part of the circumference equals 72 years of Precession of Equinox. In Precession solar and galactic intentionality align.
The ancient Scientists not only created a highly advanced Navigation System and a Calendar, they also Mapped this System to a metric systemof Earth. This System was just like the Calendar and the Navigation System implemented all over the world. To Rule efficiently you have to Standardize to predict the future.
One of most important Cycles is called the Etanic Cycle In a 780 year period the earth wobbles above the equator to a max of (4) degrees, then wobbles back below the equator to a max of (4) degrees. The full cycle take 1560 years. The 1560 year wobble can be broken down into the four quadrants of 390 years, and to the Mayan Calendar eighth part of 130 years.
The constant movement by Earth above and below the equator shifts the exposure of different areas of the planet to annual sun light. It also generates a lot of Tectonic Stress (Earth Quake Storms) from the planet’s core to its surface.
The Etanic Cycle has a huge influence on the Climate. Climate changes shift populations of humans and herds all around the Globe. To Rule the World you have to know when the Big Troubles are Coming.
The year 3117 BC was a special year not only because of the special alignment of Sun and Earth. There are 5280 Feet to the Mile. This number is 0ne fifth of the duration of the Precession Cycle. The periodicity of the well-known Economic Kondratiev Cycle is 5280/100=52.8 years.
The number Five is a very important number. It is the number of the Pentangle and the Quintessence (Chi, Ether, Prana). Five is the Number of the Center. The Ancient Scientists divided the Precession Cycle into Five Stages. The Stage that started at 3117 BC was the last Phase before a new Golden Age would start. It was the Fifth Age of the Precession. 3117 BC was the start of Human Civilization. It was the time of the Establishment of the Old Kingdom, the first Writing in Sumeria, and the first Stellar Observation Systems. The Hindu Kali Yuga (‘The Dark Age“) begins at this time as well.
Syncretism is the belief that the majority of the world’s religions can all be reconciled; that what they have in common is more than what they do not. Within syncretism is a feeling of harmony, unity, and overall love. Syncretism is not a modern belief, it was shared by ancient cultures – the most well-known being the cross-over gods between the Egyptians and Greeks and also the Celts and Romans.
They didn’t see anything wrong with this as either their beliefs, teachings, or their blood told them their gods are of the same origin. Some believe all gods originated from Africa, others the Middle East, and others yet from the Proto-Indo European. Put the cultures of these regions on a timeline and you’ll see that all of the above are right, they just represent different evolutionary periods through early pre-history.
Dragon Tracks - Precession Paradigm
The prime paradigm of each era is that of its Age. We might look at our emergent "apocalyptic" meme era as the Age of Revealing -- hopefully an era of more lucid understanding. On December 25, 3117 B.C. a total solar eclipse was visible at Sunrise at the Winter Solstice point, in the era of the global Dragon culture. This date is the Beginning of the Mayan Calendar. It is also the start of the Reign of Me-Sin or Menes, the first Pharaoh King that united Egypt.
The beginning of the new calendar marks the most important Geophysical Event of the past five millennia, the Great Flood. One of the causes of the Great Flood could be a close encounter of the earth with the comet, Typhon the Dragon.
Dragons are real and the basis of scientific priesthood and royal lineage. The sacred past is a story of sacred dragon or serpent worship. The triangular Dragon Book is essentially a magical astonomical text. Civilization was originally rooted in ancient prehistoric observations of the order of the stars. It tracked time and created calendars, and most importantly allowed predictions of eclipses rooted in the GREAT CYCLE of PRECESSION of the Zodiac, the serpentine ring of the Ecliptic.
The Center of the Universe, the Pole Star, as the most important point in the Universe. The Pole Star, the Hole in the Centre, was the entrance to the Other Worlds. Megalithic temples are tuned to this Great Cycle drama in the heavens. The "tuning and untuning of the sky" is an actual astronomical occurrence.
The Center of the Universe is not fixed. It moves around in a circle counter the Circle of the Zodiac. The Movement of the Center is called the Precession of the Equinox, and takes about 26,400 years. This movement was already known before the Great Flood occured. Plato called it the Great Year, and each of its "months" is a sign of the Zodiac.
Some 6,500 years ago the position of the equinoctial sun was aligned with the band of the Milky Way. This provided an obvious celestial alignment, occurring twice a year on the equinoxes, when the sun would conjunct the Milky Way -- the Bridge Out of Tim -- opening the way out of the plane of the living (the zodiac) and up to the cosmic center and source in heaven. A "breaking asunder" occurred when this great cosmogonic picture began to precess out of alignment. Presumably, the "untuning of the sky" coincided with increasing social tension, leading to greater collective confusion and our descent into history.
The earth either wobbles in what is known as the Precession of the Equinox or orbits in a binary star system with the same observable result. This wobble take approximately 25,800 years to go from a beginning point and return to that point. But the earth doesn't really return to the exact point in space because of at least two other factors, the perihelion precession and the obliquity of the ecliptic. Simply put, The Sun appears (as viewed from the earth) to move backward through the stars at the rate of about 1 degree every 72 years.
Key numbers of Babylonian-Sumerian mathematics (including the sixty-based system still being used) were derived from astronomical observations, and yield the traditional estimate of precession: 108 x 4 x 60 = 25,920 years. The Cycle of the Precession was divided into twelve parts of 2200 years and related to the Zodiac. With every movement into a new part of the Zodiac, society was completely reorganized to the theme of the Sign of the Zodiac.
The huge precessional clock does not stop. The axis of the earth slowly changes its orientation in space - either directly due to a precession of earth's polar axis or indirectly as a result of our entire solar system moving around a point x in space.Earth is like a gyroscope. Earth is suppose to precess opposite to its direction of rotation. The period of its complete precession cycle is said to take about 25,800 years.
During this Great Year time period, Earth supposedly goes through one retrograding rotation relative to the inertial system of the fixed stars. An additional time interval of one year of about 365 days must occur simultaneously. But since this time interval cannot be substantiated by actual time measurement, the theory of the Earth's precession does not have a proven scientific foundation. But it was accepted by all cultures in antiquity.
Hamlet's Mill describes a cycle within the precessional shifting of the crossroads of ecliptic and equator. An archetypal triangle, a Grand Trine, is associated with Precession: the Trigon of the Great Conjunction. The revolution of that Trigon is built up by "Great Conjunctions" of Saturn and Jupiter. This Trigon of Great Conjunctions is an instrument by which one could "narrow down" the almost imperceptible tempo of the Precession. To move through the whole zodiac, one of the angles of the Trigon need approximately 3 x 794 1/3 = 2383 years. That comes tolerably near to one double-hour of the greatest "day" of the Precession of 25,900 years.
The Zodiac moved from Virgo to Leo (10.000 BC), from Cancer (8700 BC, Scarab, Kheper) to Gemini (6593 BC, Twins, the Two Kingsdoms), From Taurus (Bull, 4435 BC) to Aries (Ram, 2277 BC, Shepherd, Sheep, Khnum) and from Aries to Pisces (Fish, 155 BC) and is now moving into Aquarius. The Story of Religion also moved with the Signs of the Zodiac.A new zodiacal sign was termed to "rise" starting from the day of a great conjunction at the place of the "passage." Our own era, the Age of Pisces, started with a great conjunction in Pisces, in the year 6 B.C..
The identification of an "age" with a particular zodiac constellation is based on the sun's position during the vernal equinox. Before 2000 BC, the Sun could have been seen against the stars of the constellation of Taurus at the time of vernal equinox [had there been an eclipse]. Due to the precession of the equinoxes, on average every 2,160 years the Sun appears against the stars of a new constellation at vernal equinox. The current astrological age started when the equinox precessed into the constellation of Pisces, in about the year 150 BC, with the "Age of Aquarius" starting in AD 2600.
The myth of the Eternal Return is real. Precession takes roughly 26,000 years for a cycle about the ecliptic pole. The ecliptic North Pole corresponds to the Sun's North Pole. It is the pole of the path the Sun traces about the Earth in the course of the year. The placement of Draco focuses on the Sun, so spiritually the Dragon is associated with worship of the Sun.
Dragons that 'fought with the Sun' probably described the celestrial upheaval of large fearsome comets that streaked across the sky with their long tails. They appeared cyclically and broke up upon nearing the sun, some of which collided with Earth. Eclipses were also considered celestial battles between the dark and light. In ancient times the cataclysmic forces of nature were personified as a great cosmic dragon or serpent.
Many ancient mythologies, and many god-like characters who appear in world myth, owe their existence to cosmic disasters that occurred in our solar system and which were witnessed by the inhabitants of the Earth. The cataclysmic events (involving comets and exploding planets) were permanently archived in what we nowadays refer to as the "collective unconscious."
Dragons were deeply etched in the racial memory of all mankind. Draco in Latin, the Egyptians called the constellation Tanem, the Hebrews called it Tannim, and in Aramaic its name is Tannin. The ancient root, Tan- has been wrongly translated in the Bible as whale instead of dragon. Early astrologers believed that when a comet was located in the head of the dragon, that poison was scattered all over the world.
Decoding the sky meant connecting the dots of the starry constellations, making star maps, reproducing that heaven on earth in the form of sacred sites, and embodying it in sacred royal lineage. The most ancient lines are symbolically related to the circumpolar constellation Draco, the great Dragon or "crooked" Serpent (Babylonian Sir). The winged serpent was a symbol of the Gods of Egypt, Phoenicia, China, Persia, and Hindustan.
The serpent is set in the symbol of the "Chalice," or downward pointing triangle, that has long been a womb symbol. In the Far East, this symbol is known as the Yoni. The word "one" derives from this word denoting the female womb.
The title-page of THE DRAGON BOOK mimics this Dragon in the downward-pointing triangle and describes magic, treasures and immortality. Ritual swallowing by the snake in the underworld led to the symbolic return to the embryonic state, rejuvination and rebirth in the mystery schools.
Roughly 3000 BC, the heavens revolved around the Great Dragon, and so did earthly civilization. Dragons became synonymous with immortality because the celestial dragon was exempt from the cycle of time and because the dragon lineage did not die but was preserved in the noble bloodline. The point of circumpolar rotation, inhabited by the star Thuban or not, became the "Eye of the Dragon". The stars were the witnesses or watchers - the seers. Egyptian rulers wore the Uraeus serpent (Wadjet) as their crown symbol of sovereignty (serpent of life), a link to the celestial Ouroborous.
The serpent cult worshipped the esoteric or inner sun, manifested as the biophotonic energy body. This inner light is the realization of our own connection to the greater universe, of our own inner balance and our own growth toward attune to or resonance with the world around us. It is also the part of ourselves and our outer world, which gives life, sustains and gives growth. The dragon and serpent cults inspired megalithic monuments, global dragon and serpent mounds. The most ancient initiatory and healing symbols, the circumpunct, a dot within a circle and/or a cross within a circle symbolize this inner sun.
The accepted theory that the serpent is evil cannot be substantiated. It has long been viewed as the emblem of immortality. It is the symbol of reincarnation, or metempsychosis, because it annually sheds its skin...It was also believed that snakes swallowed themselves, and this resulted in their being considered emblematic of the Supreme Creator, who periodically reabsorbed His universe back into Himself. In "Isis Unveiled," H. P. Blavatsky makes this significant statement concerning the origin of serpent worship: "Before our globe had become egg-shaped or round it was a long trail of cosmic dust or fire-mist, moving and writhing like a serpent. This, say the explanations, was the Spirit of God moving on the chaos until its breath had incubated cosmic matter and made it assume the annular shape of a serpent with its tail in its month--emblem of eternity in its spiritual and of our world in its physical sense" - Manly Palmer Hall (The Secret Teachings of All Ages)
The figure of Eve is based upon much older mythology and may be traced back to the ancient Mother Goddess or World Mother and the serpent cults of the pre-Biblical period. Closer examination of the name ‘Eve’ revealed her serpent origins, for the Hebrew for Eve is havvah, meaning ‘mother of all things,’ but also ‘serpent.’ Likewise, the Arabic words for ‘snake,’ ‘life,’ and ‘teaching,’ are closely related to the word or name “Eve’ – Philip Gardiner and Gary Osborn (The Serpent Grail)
The priests of the Mysteries were symbolized as a serpent, sometimes called Hydra...The Serpent Kings reigned over the earth. It was these Serpent Kings who founded the Mystery Schools which later appeared as the Egyptian and Brahmin Mysteries...The serpent was their symbol...They were the true Sons of Light, and from them have descended a long line of adepts and initiates - Manly Palmer Hall
The Uraeus is a serpent issuing forth from the forehead of many gods being also an ornament of the royal crowns...The amulet of the serpent head is the symbol of the goddess Isis who is often represented by a serpent – Karel Weinfurter (Man’s Highest Purpose)
Dragon history is extensive and wide-spread, as almost every mythology has unique styles of dragon. The Sumerian word for dragon is "ushum". Chinese dragons date back to around 5,000 BCE. The Chinese believed that they were the "decendants of the dragons," too. Like comets, they could rise to the heavens or go to the bottom of the seas. Like Mesopotamian and Egyptian rulers, Chinese emperors were said to be sons of the dragons and wore special robes. The sign of the celestial dragon could only be worn by the emperor, and it was the sign of the ultimate power.
Japanese dragons are also linked to natural disasters. Floods were said to be commonly caused by Japanese dragons who were offended by mortals. The also were producers of the storms, and they were water-granting and water-producing creatures. In addition, heavenly dragons gaurded the palace of the gods. The earth dragons decided the course of the rivers, and the spiritual dragons bring the blessed rains. There were also the gaurdians of earthly treasures.
Egyptian dragons were both good and evil. In Egyptian history Osiris entered the serpent and emerged reborn and invigorated, and our European and American ancestors mimicked this belief. In all cases it was the wisdom of the serpent, which gave the strength to empower the individual to move on in life, as if born again. The dates of Egyptian myths vary, but they tend to be within 3,000 BCE and 2,000 BCE. The foremost dragon of Egypt is Apep. He has many other names, including the sea serpent. Holding a grudge against Ra, the sun god, Apep attempted to swallow him every night as he made his trip through the underworld. When he succeeded, an eclipse occured.
In contrast to Apep, there is Mehen, a serpent-dragon. Often, Mehen is depicted coiled around the Boat of the Sun, which Ra traveled upon nightly. He was a protectorate of Ra. Ra also encountered the Guardians of the Gates of the Underworld on his journey. Serpents were also known to watch the dead. Such were the laculi, the Egyptian Winged Serpent, which can often be found on the tombs of the departed. There was also Wadjet, who was also a symbol of rulership in addition to being a guardian. Often, Pharoahs would have her symbol upon their crowns.
The foremost Babylonian tale is Tiamat and Apsu, and they were the waters. Apsu was the sweet water while Tiamat was the salt waters, and together they created the gods. After a great struggle, Marduk emerged victorious over Tiamat and her monsters. He gathered all the monsters within his fish nets, and he cut Tiamat in half. With one half, he created the Earth; with the other he created the Heavens.
Epic of Gilgamesh, the most famous Babylonian tale, dates to 2000 BCE. In this Epic, the dragon known as Humbaba appears. Humbaba was a sort of dragon-mix, being that he had the body of a lion, but it was covered with horned scales. His claws and feet were that of a vulture, and his tail ended with the head of a snake. In addition, he had the horns of a bull on his head and walked upright.
Ophite (serpent worshiping) temples of Syria serpent worshippers were known as Hivites (linked with the root wordhivvah which from which came the biblical name of Eve, equated with "female serpent"). In India serpent deities are known as the Naga. The physical snake renews and sloughs its skin and is thought to prevent and cure disease. The knowledge of amazing regenerative properties of the various parts of the snake have been discovered in hundreds of ancient medica materia, alchemical texts and hidden within folklore. The Native American medicine wheel echoes the circumpunct cross within a circle.
Somewhere around 250 AD, the Quetzalcoatl became a very important god to the Mayans and Aztecs. He did many things, and operated also under the names of Kukulkan, Ehecatl, and The Lord of the Dawn.
Serpent Mounds were subterranean passages that terminated at the ‘root of heaven’ – referred to as a ‘snake’s hole’ while snake heaven was Patala. Votan was only allowed entry because he was ‘the son of a snake’ from which we can infer he was an initiate in the serpent cult.
The venom of the snake was used as an Elixir to help prevent disease through boosting the immune system with high levels of protein. And secondly mixing the neurotoxic venom with the blood of the snake or mammalian host such as a horse brings on altered states of consciousness much akin to certain drugs used by shaman across the world from ancient times. Visions of ‘otherworlds’ seen in such trances are often depicted as tombs, wombs or caves, within which sometimes benevolent, sometimes terrible, serpents are encountered.
In any discussion of serpent wisdom we cannot fail to also mention the ancient Hindu Kundalini practice. Kundalinimeans simply "coiled serpent" and in the Indian system the ida and pingala energy (through serpent channels) are raised up and down the spine to raise the consciousness of the adept. The dual serpentine caduceus is known to all health practitioners the world over.
Daemon Est Deus Inversus
(Latin) Daemon is divinity inverted; more commonly, the Devil is God inverted. An ancient Hermetic, and later Qabbalistic, aphorism referring to that polar power which is required by the equilibrium and harmony in nature. The One, when manifested, becomes Two, and from the Two are unfolded or evolved all the sequence of manifest existence. Spirit and matter, good and evil, as distinct conceptions exist only by their mutual contrast. There is no evil per se, but the human notion of essential evil arises from our inability to take in the whole at a single glance.
Daemon is applicable in general to all formative power, from the highest to the lowest; in this aphorism it denotes the formative rays in their manifestation in and on the lower planes of prakriti, called by contrast the nether pole. Western monotheism, having anthropomorphized the higher creative powers into a personal God, personified the lower powers into a Devil and demons.
But Satan or the Adversary is only God's messenger, because what is below reflects what is above. This aphorism, then, states that all the manifested universe is the representation or material inversion or reflection of the divine essence and its emanations which in their aggregate compose the spiritual background and causal forces of the universe. Furthermore, a reflected image reverses.
Finally, the aphorism denotes the astral light, represented by a black triangle inverted on a white (SD 1:424).

According to alchemical cosmology, all of creation arises from a fundamental source of energy and consciousness known as Chaos. This vast unmanifest, void of any form, gives rise to two primary forms of expression: one active, or energy, and the other passive, or matter. [...] These two forms of fundamental energy, active and passive, then give rise to subdivisions within themselves, forming the four elements as we know them. These elements recombine to form the three essentials of alchemy. (Sulfur, Mercury and Salt) [...] Finally, it is through the alchemist's manipulation of these three essentials, separating them back into their principal parts and reassembling them, that he or she may undertake the alchemical work and achieve the Philosopher's Stone. -- Path of Alchemy
The Stone (or Elixer, or Quintessence) is the result of separation and recombination (Solve et Coagula) of the active and passive forms of the Spirit, the "primordial form of energy-consciousness that is utilized in magical rituals as well as in alchemy." It is symbolized by an eight-spoked wheel. There is a hidden constellation of the zodiac known as Ophiuchus/Serpentarius, and it is located between Saggitarius and Scorpio, and directly opposite of Orion (It is sometimes called the "13th constellation" though not strictly #13 in the correct order.). Both names refer to the man as a serpent-bearer; he holds onto the constellation Serpens. His body cuts the serpent into two parts: Serpens Caput and Serpens Cauda. The body of the serpent also divides the man's extremeties into two.
Ophiuchus has one foot on the back of Scorpio (which is also a serpent), and one foot in the river of the Milky Way, just above the galactic central point. I think this resembles Tarot card #17, The Star, where a woman has one foot on land and one in the water. These two "paths" represent the two paths to the Philosopher's Stone/Holy Grail, the wet way and the dry way. The Path of the Alchemist makes the association in the card of The Lovers, #6, as representing the two paths of alchemy. And of course the marriage is between the Moon, #18, the White Stone and Wet Way, and the Sun, #19, the Red Stone and Dry Way.
The Dry Way is usually described as being the much faster path to the Stone. The feet of Ophiuchus also resemble the images where a victorious figure has one or both feet on a serpent or dragon representing his lower nature which has been conquored. Ophiuchus' right foot rests on the center of the galaxy, a region of birth/creation and death/destruction, and as symbolized by the serpent ouroboros, resurrection/immortality. The constellation of Ophiuchus was once called The Coffin. The caduceus of Hermes/Mercury is the zodiac sign for this constellation.
Draco [from Greek drakon dragon] The dragon; a northern circumpolar constellation, within which is the pole of the ecliptic. But the name seems to have had different applications at different times and places; we hear it spoken of as a vast constellation extending through seven signs of the zodiac; also as the seven-headed Draco, each of whose heads is a star of Uras Minor; and again as the pole star. Draco was a symbol of the good serpent, the Messiah of the Naaseni.
Dracontia Temples dedicated to the Dragon -- emblem of the sun, of life, wisdom, and cycles -- once covered the globe. All that remains are those colossal upreared monoliths, or combinations of monoliths, seen at Stonehenge, Carnac, and other places. The Serpent Mounds, such as those in Ohio, symbolize the same thing. Besides being mute historic witnesses of a knowledge of the mysteries of the cosmic or mundane serpent, these temples were used as means of divination by the priests who understood their secrets.
Dragon [from Greek drakon, serpent, the watchful] Known to scholarship as a mythical monster, a huge lizard, winged, scaly, fire-breathing, doubtless originating in the memory of an actual prehistoric animal. Dragon is often synonymous with serpent. The dragon and serpent, whether high or low, are types of various events in cosmic or world history, or of various terrestrial or human qualities, for either one can at different times signify spiritual immortality, wisdom, reimbodiment, or regeneration. In the triad of sun, moon, and serpent or cross, it denotes the manifested Logos, and hence is often said to be seven-headed.
As such it is in conflict with the sun, and sometimes with the moon; but this conflict is merely the duality of contrary forces essential to cosmic stability. The dragon itself is often dual, and it may be paired with the serpent, as with Agathodaimon and Kakodaimon, the good and evil serpents, seen in the caduceus. Again the dragon is two-poled as having a head and a tail, Rahu and Ketu in India, commonly described as being the moon's north and south nodes, the moon thus being a triple symbol in which a unity conflicts with a duality.
A universal myth is that of the sun god fighting the dragon and eventually worsting it, which represents the descent of spirit into matter and the eventual sublimation of matter by spirit in the ascending arc of evolution. There are Bel (and later Merodach) and the dragon Tiamat in Babylonia and with the Hebrews; Fafnir in Scandinavia; Chozzar with the Peratae Gnostics; among the Greeks Python conquered by Apollo and the two serpents killed by Hercules at his birth; the fight between Ahti and the evil serpent in the Kalevala; and many other such stories.
In the Christian Apocalypse the dragon plays a great part, often misinterpreted as evil just as Satan or the Devil has been imagined as the foe of divinity and humanity. Cosmologically, all dragons and serpents slain by their adversaries are the unregulated or chaotic cosmic principles bought to order by the spiritual sun gods or formative cosmic powers. The dragon is the demiurge, the establisher or former of our planet and of all that pertains to it -- neither good nor bad, but its differentiated aspects in nature make it assume one or the other character.
The dragon symbol, then, is both cosmic and human in its applications: it may stand for powers of nature, which first overcome man, but which he must eventually overcome, as well as the monad atma-buddhi, which through the manasic principle seeks imbodiment, but needs the help of the still lower principles in order to effect a union with the principles of earth.
Cosmologically analogies are drawn between the north polar constellation Draco and one or the other of the great floods, and the word dragon is sometimes used to denote such a flood; for the position of this constellation relative to that of the earth's axis of rotation is intimately connected with cataclysms. The dragon in its higher or superior sense means among other things divine wisdom, especially where the serpent is used for terrestrial wisdom; and adepts or initiates were frequently called dragons. The dragon may be the symbol of a cycle; and the sevenfold dragon may mean the seven minor cycles in a great cycle.
Dragon of Wisdom - Commonly an adept, one of the wise; also popularly a skilled magician -- whether of the right or left path. Referring to the earliest stages of cosmogony, dragon is a term often used for the sun in its various cosmologic functions, also for the One or Logos. An important significance of the phrase is that the real initiator of humanity, or of the individual neophyte, is the person's own higher ego.
